We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to join our Support organization. This role requires the highest level of fluency in Japanese as you will be working closely with customers in Japan, providing technical expertise and post-sales support.
As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for Oracle customers, ensuring timely resolution of technical inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to Oracle Cloud services. Your responsibilities include:
Providing post-sales technical support via phone, email, and electronic channels.
Addressing and resolving complex OCI-related issues, including infrastructure, networking, and security concerns.
Advocating for customer needs within Oracle, facilitating strong relationships between customers and internal teams.
Assisting Oracle employees with escalated customer cases, ensuring effective resolution and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Highest level of fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken).
Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Oracle Database
OCI Observability and Management Services, including:
Database Management Service
Stack Monitoring
Operations Insights
Application Performance Monitoring
Logging Analytics
Knowledge of other cloud platforms and technologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud operations, technical support, or cloud engineering.
Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
