Role : Cloud Support Engineer - Multiple Teams (Network, Infrastructure, Data, Platform)

Job Description:

GlobalLogic (Hitachi Group) is looking for Cloud Support Engineers to join our growing teams in Tokyo or Osaka. We are hiring for multiple teams across the Network, Infrastructure, Data, and Platform areas, and we are seeking passionate, motivated individuals from a wide variety of educational and professional backgrounds. Whether you have a degree in Computer Science or an arts background with some exposure to IT, we encourage you to apply!

Each team focuses on different aspects of cloud technologies, and we welcome candidates with various backgrounds to join us. We provide training on cloud technologies, so if you’re worried about not having enough cloud-related experience, don’t worry—we’ll equip you with the knowledge you need to succeed!

Responsibilities:

• Network Team: Troubleshoot and resolve cloud network services (e.g., VPC, DNS, Load Balancing) issues. Assist clients in configuring and optimizing cloud network architecture.
• Infrastructure Team: Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., Compute Engine, Virtual Machines, Storage). Help customers optimize resources for better scalability and performance.
• Data Team: Support cloud data services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud SQL). Assist clients with managing their data workflows and optimizing cloud data management.
• Platform Team: Assist with cloud platform services such as Kubernetes, Containers, and Application Services. Troubleshoot platform-related issues and improve application performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
• We are open to candidates from a wide variety of educational backgrounds, including arts degrees. If you have taken subjects in IT (like coding, programming, cloud computing) or have IT certifications, you are strongly encouraged to apply!
• If you have cloud-related coursework, internship experience in IT, or exposure to cloud programs at the university level, this will be a plus.
• Fresh graduates (Dai Ni Shin Sotsu) are welcome to apply—we’re looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us!
• Proficiency in Japanese and business-level English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• An eagerness to work with cloud technologies and support enterprise clients in a dynamic, global environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices, automation tools, or DevOps culture.
• Experience with cloud network services, data management, or platform optimization.
• IT internship experience or projects related to cloud technologies is a plus.
