You will be responsible for the entire process of utilizing customer data collected from vehicles, cloud services, mobile apps, and web apps, as well as data gathered from various business activities within Sony Honda Mobility. This includes identifying key business challenges and customer experience (UX) improvements where data can be applied, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with relevant departments (e.g., marketing, quality assurance) to share results and co-develop improvement measures. You will also work closely with the cloud services, front-end (FE), and vehicle development teams to design data collection from each touchpoint in preparation for future data analysis activities.

Our department has just under 50 members. There are about 25 backend engineers. The data infrastructure team consists of three members and focuses mainly on building the data infrastructure. Additionally, we work as one team with related departments such as planning and design
Responsibilities

Requirements Required Skills ・Experience in setting data analysis themes and designing analysis plans, including selecting appropriate methods (1 year or more) ・Experience in communicating and collaborating with relevant departments/stakeholders while executing data analysis themes (1 year or more) ・Experience in data analysis using Python, R, or similar tools (2 years or more) ・Practical experience in data processing, analysis, and visualization (2 years or more)
Preferred Skills ・Experience in machine learning system development using cloud services like AWS or GCP ・Experience in cloud service development or collaboration with development teams ・Diverse experience in data analysis across various domains ・Experience in implementing data analysis measures in product/service development
Language ・Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) ・Ability to read English technical documentation related to software
Possibility of English communication with overseas partners or members of overseas branches depending on the work
