  • Hello! My name is Hu, and I work in the Engine Maintenance Department at the ANA Maintenance Center. I am from Tainan City, located in the southern part of Taiwan. Since childhood, I traveled to Japan every year, which sparked my interest in Japanese culture. This passion led me to join ANA, an airline that connects Japan and Taiwan. I work in the engine maintenance department—the heart of the aircraft—and this spring marks my third year with the company. Engine maintenance involves various processes, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly and test runs. My primary role is disassembly and assembly which takes an engine from an aircraft and disassembles it, from large parts down to individual bolts. Each component is carefully inspected before being reassembled with precision down to the width of a single strand of hair. 🔧 It’s incredibly complex and a high-precision task, but I always work with the utmost care, while learning as much as possible from my senior colleagues. The moment I see the powerful engine running again after being reinstalled on the aircraft is when I feel the greatest sense of fulfillment in my work. 💪 Recently, I’ve been very excited about EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai! At the 2010 Shanghai Expo, I enjoyed the cultural exchanges between different countries and felt as if I had traveled the world. This year, I plan to participate in the event once again. ✨ In fact, ANA has launched a special designed aircraft, “EXPO2025 ANA JET,” in celebration of the Osaka-Kansai Expo! ✈️ If you're visiting the Expo, why not fly on the “EXPO2025 ANA JET” to enhance the experience? At ANA, we will continue working together to provide the best engine maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable flights for everyone.

  • I’m Shibata from ANA Passenger Services at Haneda Airport. I joined ANA in 2023 and am now in my second year. When I first started, I was overwhelmed by the size of Haneda Airport and got lost countless times. 😵💫 Currently, I manage gates for international departures, provide lobby services and handle arrival operations. As the person in charge of a flight, safety is my top priority and I ensure every team member shares this commitment. I prioritize effective coordination and communication to ensure flights stay on schedule. I try to prioritize thinking from the customer’s perspective. Whether assisting frequent travelers or first-time flyers who approach the counter with visible nerves, I always keep in mind that each customer comes to the airport with their own purpose and feelings. I strive to engage with them accordingly and make it a point to bring my own excitement to work, so I can share that energy with our customers. 🌈 The time we spend with each customer is only a small part of their journey, but I want those moments to become a meaningful part of their travel memories. I am constantly learning and improving to make that possible. ☺️🌼 In my free time, I enjoy skin diving. 🐠 Last summer, I went to Okinawa six times and spent hours swimming in the ocean. The most beautiful and breathtaking underwater world I’ve ever seen, however, was in Brisbane, Australia. This year, I’m looking forward to swimming a lot again! I look forward to seeing you all at Haneda Airport. ✈️🤍💙

  • Hello everyone! 👐 I’m Shoji, a Boeing 777 captain. 🧑✈️ I joined ANA in 2009 as a cadet pilot trainee and began flying as a co-pilot in 2013. After about 11 years, I was promoted to captain in 2024. I currently operate domestic flights 🗾 mainly between Haneda and New Chitose, Itami, Fukuoka and Naha. 🛫 During my time as a co-pilot, I learned a great deal from senior colleagues, which shaped my aspirations for becoming a captain. Now, as a captain, I aim to set a good example for my junior colleagues while dedicating myself to safe and efficient operations every day. As flight crew, we regularly train using full-flight simulators to prepare for aircraft operation and emergency procedures. We also perform regular training with equipment that simulates the aircraft to ensure we can respond calmly and accurately in an emergency evacuation. Just the other day, I took part in an emergency evacuation drill using the slide. 🦺 Beyond such training, we are always preparing ourselves to remain calm and composed in any situation that may arise. ✨ At ANA, we are committed to providing a safe and high-quality experience so that our passengers can fly with peace of mind to their destinations.
