«We are delighted to award the LCA Prize for Emergent to Matteo Cantarella and Shahin Zarinbal for their first appearance at miart with works by Sanna Helena Berger and Cecilie Norgaard. In their joint presentation, the galleries have not only brought together compelling works by two emerging artists, but also put the collaborative nature of their individual practices on the forefront to produce a presentation that is not commercially driven but most importantly artist-centered. The jury was particularly impressed by the formal and conceptual rigour of the installation, which belies the simplicity of its presentation». Announcing the winner of the Massimo Giorgetti Prize: Chiara Enzo, represented by Galleria Zero. At its third edition, the Massimo Giorgetti Prize stems from the desire of the fashion designer and collector Massimo Giorgetti to support young artists at the beginning of their careers. The prize worth €5,000 is awarded to an emerging artist to support their practice and research. “The Massimo Giorgetti 2025 miart prize jury selected the work of Chiara Enzo for her research on complex dynamics between the individual and his or her surroundings. Her work focuses primarily on the often problematic tensions and interactions between the self and one's vulnerability. The focus of her pictorial research lies in the exploration of particular moments and circumstances that have the power to alter the perception of reality. The artist dwells on emotional states and situations that test the human being, such as moments of fragility, conditions of strong psychological pressure, circumstances of imminent danger or, conversely, moments of deep intimate connection. The jury will also be pleased to see the evolution of the artist's work." The jury was composed of Gea Politi - Publisher and Chief Editor, Flash Art, Milan Edoardo Monti - Founder & Curator, Palazzo Monti, Brescia Massimo Giorgetti - Founder and Creative Director MSGM, Milan
