Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting the Master students of Università Bocconi for an insightful session as part of their Made in Italy course, during which we examined Venchi’s development journey and international growth strategy.   Our Travel Retail manager, Paolo Prina Cerai, explored the dynamics of the global duty-free industry, discussing the strategic opportunities and challenges that define this unique channel of trade. As part of its expansion plan, Venchi is increasing its focus and investment in travel retail, targeting high-traffic international airport hubs. At Venchi, our passion for chocolate goes hand in hand with our commitment to innovation and operational excellence. That's why we are excited to team up with Politecnico di Torino as part of the Simulation of Managerial Systems course. 🍫 This collaboration marks the beginning of an exciting Lean Manufacturing project focused on optimizing our production processes. Over the next few months, groups of students will work on this challenge, diving deep into real-world applications and exploring ways to enhance our operations.
