During the webinar, we were inspired by real examples of how youth are already transforming the livestock sector with fresh ideas and unwavering passion through innovative and inclusive solutions. 📣 We also announced the 2025 priorities of the WFF Thematic Assembly on Livestock, inviting youth to engage in discussions throughout the year! We’re thrilled to launch CultivatED – Discover, Design, and Develop Sustainable Agrifood Systems! 🚀 In collaboration with the Erasmus Student Network Roma Tre (ESN), the WFF Youth Education Programme offers a structured and recognized learning experience that connects students with experts from the agrifood sector and the UN system. Programme Structure (Total: 60 hours). The programme consists of three main phases 🌍: Discover pillar: Capacity development sessions (26 hours) – Technical masterclasses with FAO experts, soft skills training and self-directed learning. Design pillar: WFF flagship event (10 hours) – Participation in the WFF School Assembly, including student statement presentations and interactive activities. 🌍 At the #N4G2025 Summit in Paris, the WFF Youth Initiative brought science, strategy and youth energy to the forefront. 💬 Dr Ana Luiza Domingos, from our Young Scientists Group, joined global experts to spotlight the deep connection between climate and nutrition and the need to bridge research and policy through interdisciplinary collaboration. From fragmented policies to missed opportunities, the message was clear: youth must be part of the solution.
