Empowering diversity through language👷🏻♀️👩🏽💻 At SYSTRA Italy, we wrapped up March with an enriching online event focused on the power of words. Vera Gheno, sociolinguist, lecturer and researcher at the University of Florence, expert in digital communication, led us in exploring the nuances of gender language. We reflected on how the words we choose can be powerful tools for valuing diversity in its broadest sense. Nearly 200 colleagues participated in this heartfelt talk, marking International Women’s Day with meaningful discussions. 🚆 Site Visit to Napoli-Bari High-Speed Line – Napoli-Cancello Section   On March 20th and 27th, our team had the opportunity to visit the strategic Napoli-Cancello section (15.6 km) of the Napoli-Bari High-Speed Rail Line. This vital segment plays a key role in improving metropolitan, regional, and long-distance connectivity, particularly in the Afragola-Acerra area.   The project includes the construction of 4 viaducts, 8 km of embankments, over 3 km of artificial tunnels, and new stations in Acerra and Casalnuovo, alongside a new stop at the shopping center for metro services. This ambitious infrastructure development is a major challenge due to its location in a highly urbanized area.   For our young designers, these site visits are an invaluable learning experience, offering a firsthand look at how complex projects come to life.   A special thank you to Webuild for their professionalism, availability, and invaluable insights during the site visit. We had the pleasure of welcoming Arnaud Valranges (Senior Vice President Business & Organisational Development) and Prisca Flattot (Senior Vice President Technical & Operational Performance) for key discussions on innovation strategy, precious feedback and advices.   We explored how to expan innovation globally, gained valuable insights into the new Technical and Operational Performance (TOP) department, which its main missions are to organise multi-site production, develop our technical excellence, improve the efficiency of our projects in terms of costs, deadlines and quality, coordinate business innovation initiatives, and steer Group transformation programmes, linked to the technical and operational performance of projects.    Assessing SYSTRA Italy’s strengths and areas for improvement was essential in shaping our next steps. [🏃🏽♀️🙌🏽🏃🏿♂️CONNECTED TEAMS] Among over 30,000 participants in the "Just The Woman I Am" (JTWIA) event in Turin, we were proud to spot also our SYSTRA Italy colleagues from our local office supporting university research on health and cancer! This 5km walk/run event, which for more than a decade has been raising funds for cancer research, aims to promote gender equality and encourage healthy, balanced lifestyles, aligning with International Women’s Day. Arbeidene omfatter viktige tiltak for å ruste jernbanen mot fremtidens klimaendringer 🛤️ 🌧️ Videoen nedenfor viser utførelsen av arbeidet vi prosjekterte i forbindelse med utskifting av en stikkrenne ved Gullhella stasjon på Spikkestadbanen. Selv et mindre tiltak krever nøye planlegging for å legge til rette for en effektiv anleggsgjennomføring. Arbeidet ble utført av Veidekke uten komplikasjoner, og innenfor den planlagte togstansen på 36 timer ⏱️ 🏗️ Vi takker alle involverte for et godt samarbeid🤝
