We are excited to reveal the design for a new residential project in Kitzbüheler Alpen St. Johann in Tirol, Austria! The project features three residential buildings, with 62 apartments and smaller office spaces. Inspired by “Schönbichl”, a garden on a small hill where the site is situated, the design concept seeks to seamlessly integrate the new project into the surrounding environment while enhancing spatial quality through green and open spaces. Seventy percent of the plot will be dedicated to gardens and parks, while expansive loggias and balconies provide nature-connected outdoor living on all levels. The design draws inspiration from local architectural elements, such as the traditional pitched roof, and incorporates local materials like larch wood and bush-hammered concrete. These materials are harmoniously blended with the natural surroundings, offering breathtaking views of the Kitzbüheler Horn and Kaisergebirge. Die Neue Fleck - Competition entry for the transformation of an abandoned ropeway station into a flexible cultural space. Our proposal preserves the existing structure while creating a multifunctional landmark that seamlessly integrates with the landscape and honors its historical legacy. The original cable car machinery becomes the heart of the new space, and the original concrete plinth, combined with a new envelope of dark shingles, creates a seamless blend of past and future. Exciting News! We are beyond excited to announce that Peter Pichler Architecture has been invited to the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, curated by Carlo Ratti. Titled "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.", the exhibition explores the built environment’s position and responsibility in the context of the global climate crisis. Our project, "Looking back to the past, another way of looking into the future", explores the anthropological relationship between humans and the natural environment in a critical time. The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, May 10, to Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Giardini, the Arsenale, and Forte Marghera. III Days of Architecture – Limitless, Montenegro Peter Pichler will participate as a speaker at the III Days of Architecture – Limitless, happening from November 22 to 24, 2024, in Montenegro. The event is organized by the Professional Chamber of Architects and the Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro, in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica and the Architectural Association of Montenegro. Great days in Singapore at World Architecture Festival 2024!

Excited to be part of the Architetture recenti in Alto Adige 2018 – 2024 exhibition with our Kastelaz Hof residential project, curated by Filippo Bricolo and featuring outstanding work from notable studios across South Tyrol. This fourth edition, organized by Kunst Meran Merano Arte in collaboration with Architecture Foundation South Tyrol and Südtiroler Künstlerbund, documents the evolution of architecture in the region from 2000 to now. The exhibition runs from October 27, 2024, to February 16, 2025.
