Our waste-to-X technology is about transforming waste into low-carbon fuels and circular chemicals, bridging the gap between waste management and the chemical/fuel industries.   We focused on the innovation that this scheme brings compared to traditional waste management plants and shared our vision on the importance of the regulatory framework to support these decarbonization schemes.   This approach not only decarbonizes waste management but also leads the way in chemical recycling — making waste a resource with real value. The “Energy Transition and Nuclear Industry 2025” event, organized by Il Sole 24 Ore, was a fantastic opportunity to host such an important conversation about the future of energy. Our Giovanni Sale perfectly expressed our commitment to transforming industrial chemistry with low-carbon impact in the roundtable on “The Italian nuclear supply chain: new business models for atomic energy production.” To achieve this goal, it's essential to diversify energy sources that are safe, continuous, and reliable to support the new industrial paradigm. Our ‘e-factory for chemistry’ model taps into energy from modular plants powered by next-gen newcleo reactors, which safely use waste from older reactors as fuel. It’s been an incredible few days, and we’ve been proud to team up with MyReplast Industries to showcase our technologies and share best practices alongside key players from the plastics and recycling sectors.   ➡️ Davide Tresoldi, our Sustainable Materials Commercial VP, participated in the panel “Exploring Pathways for Physical and Chemical Recycling” where he emphasized the strengths of chemical recycling, particularly the continuous processes that offer quicker reaction times and significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. At Capital Market Day, we showcased three breakthrough technologies driving the energy transition. Here’s the second game-changer:   ➡️ NX FHYVE™, our high-efficiency electrolyzer designed for hydrogen and oxygen production through water electrolysis. Its modular stack, built from five-cell units, makes maintenance quick and easy. If needed, the stack can be opened, damaged cells replaced, and then seamlessly reassembled.   Hydrogen isn’t new to us—we’ve been building hydrogen plants for 50 years, producing it in all forms. Now, we’re taking it to the next level. By 2026, we plan to scale up to industrial production, making hydrogen more accessible than ever.   #NEXTCHEM #Hydrogen #Innovation

At Capital Markets Day, we showcased 3 items to demonstrate how technology can transform not only how we make things but also our lives. 🚗 One of them is car components made from upcycled plastic at MyReplast Industries plant. Here, plastic waste is turned into high-quality polymers, proving that these materials can not only replace fossil-based virgin plastics but do so in an exceptional way. We call it upcycling. This inspiring story also reflects our business model: investing in plants to test and perfect our technology before selling it. The Brescia plant has been performing exceptionally well, leading to our first license sale in Italy, with more international sales on the horizon.
