Around this time last year, we launched the SportVot Play division with three simple goals: - Build a world-class streaming solution for players on turfs—adding fun to their games while helping them improve. - Provide all-in-one solutions to organizers for managing leagues, launching IPs, and making grassroots sports accessible to a wider audience. - Partner with and support sports communities, making our video-enabled turfs accessible to everyone at affordable prices. What started with a growth plan on an Excel sheet presented by Sajid is now a 14-turf-strong business in four cities across India—Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore. We knew we needed someone with an innate love for sports, hands-on experience in ground operations, and a proven track record of building startups to lead this vision. We’re excited to announce that Sajid Khan, who joined us as the Head of SportVot Play in March last year, has now been elevated to CEO, SportVot Play. Sajid brings valuable experience from startups like Store My Goods, CARS24, OYO, Indiagold, Zostel, and All Used Cars.
