We Heard! What was spoken and what was not spoken but felt. At the 2nd Edition of Nasscom Foundation’s Deaf Conference at Christ University Bangalore, Jyoti Sharma emphasized the critical importance of deaf inclusion under the theme: "Shifting the Narrative: From Barriers to Pathways.” She underscored the urgent need for the corporate community to move beyond mere access to genuine deaf inclusion, describing it as a crucial wake-up call to come forward and translate inclusivity into tangible action. The call was to encourage organizations to not just open doors, but to champion true inclusion and representation. This sentiment was perfectly captured by a quote from Vernā Myers: “Diversity is being invited to the party: Inclusion is being asked to dance." It’s no longer enough to speak about inclusion —At the Nasscom Foundation’s Deaf Conference 2025, the message was clear: true progress means equipping the Deaf community with the resources, access, and opportunities they need to lead. Inclusion isn’t an initiative — it’s infrastructure. And we’re here to reimagine it, together. A.S. At the Nasscom Foundation’s Deaf Conference 2025, Alok Kejriwal shared a visionary message — a call to bring Indian Sign Language (ISL) into the mainstream. More than just inclusion, it’s about normalizing ISL to break communication barriers and build a culture where connection and understanding know no bounds. #DeafInclusion #SignLanguageMatters #NasscomFoundation #InclusiveWorkplaces #DeafConference2025

Visibility is not charity — it’s a necessity. At the Nasscom Foundation’s Deaf Conference 2025, Sarika Naik made a compelling case for going beyond surface-level inclusion. Her message? Don’t just invite the Deaf to the workplace — build spaces where they belong, where they lead, and where their voices shape the future.
