Welcoming Santosh Gnanaprakash as a Strategic Partner to Counselect! Our team is growing in tandem with our ambition. As we prepare to deliver on fresh client projects in the new financial year, we’re continuing to assemble a star cast of lawyers and advisors who have proved their mettle on the stage of shared service delivery. Santosh is one such star, a lawyer and company secretary with almost 25 years of experience in domestic and global contracting, employment advisory, secretarial and statutory compliances, data privacy, legal operations, disputes and litigation, licensing agreements, investigations, corporate training, government and regulatory affairs and policy drafting. Santosh is currently a partner at a law firm in Bengaluru. Previously, as Head-Legal Counsel of the Bengaluru operation of retail giant TESCO, Santosh led a team that provided strategic guidance and ensured seamless functioning of the shared services hub. Prior to TESCO, Santosh led multicultural teams at PwC and advised global leadership at media company TIME Inc India. At Counselect, Santosh will deploy his vast experience to design legal and compliance workstreams for multinational companies, with a focus on retail business. He has hit the ground running—already, his sharp insights have helped us advise companies on combining talent and technology to provide high-value legal services from India-based Global Capability Centres.
