This collaboration aims to bolster India's '𝐀𝐭𝐦𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐫𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭' initiative by enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities in the EV sector. Under the agreement, battery packs for Atul Greentech's electric three-wheelers will be produced at Amara Raja's Giga Corridor facility in 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢, 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐚. The partnership also encompasses the development of advanced chemistry cells, aligning with the national goal of achieving self-reliance in manufacturing. 𝐀𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐄𝐕 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 Atul Greentech and Amara Raja Group have entered a strategic partnership to co-develop and supply 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐋𝐅𝐏) 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 for electric three-wheelers. The battery packs will be manufactured at 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚’𝐬 𝐆𝐢𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 in Telangana. The collaboration, formalized through a tripartite MoU, includes: - 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 - 𝐀𝐭𝐮𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐯𝐭. 𝐋𝐭𝐝. - 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐋𝐭𝐝. Atul Greentech, a subsidiary of Atul Auto Ltd., has inked a strategic partnership with Amara Raja Group for collaboration in the development and supply of LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery packs and chargers for electric vehicles. To start with, Amara Raja will supply batteries for Atul Greentech’s three-wheelers from its Giga Corridor in Divitipalli, Telangana.
