The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) has galvanized the national engineering industry to design risk mitigations in major projects. In 2023 the reality of what cities need to plan for swiftly spread across America. Cultural amenities and places to meet are now the primary reasons for millions of people to visit, live, or work in or near a city. Commuters and office workers are no longer the primary factors in infrastructure planning.
