  • Park team field trip to IJM Timber Engineering Ltd. headquarters in Monaghan For the past 12 years IJM have been supplying the timber frame structures to all of our sites. Today, we took a tour of their manufacturing hub observing everything from their CAD design process to their array of semi automated CNC machinery used for cutting, stapling, and moving the product. In addition to hearing about their future plans and sustainability endeavours. Bringing our teams together creates an opportunity to improve effeciencies from supply to delivery with no expense spared on quality. This long-standing relationship is one we are very proud of. #buildingforgenerations #esg

  • PC OF OUR LATEST HIGH SPEC LOGISITICS UNIT AT NORTHWEST BUSINESS PARK As seen in todays Irish Times, Unit 735 will be the next building due to complete in the Northwest Business Park in Quarter 2 2025. This modern high bay logistics unit extends to a total GEA of approx. 5,323 sq. m (57,291 sq ft) including 596 sq. m (6,415 sq ft) of two storey office space. The unit features a clear internal height of approx. 14.6 meters and loading access is provided via 6 automated dock levellers and 2 ground-level automated loading doors, with a 40-metre-deep service yard. As proud sponsors of the Irish Ladies Hockey team we were thrilled when a few of the players took time out of their busy training schedule at the Sport Ireland Campus and made the short journey to visit us at Northwest Business Park. They gained an insight to its sustainability features of our latest building such as it’s PV roof panels, EV charging spaces, air source heat pumps and LED lighting with passive infrared (PIR) sensors as standard. This unit is also introducing rainwater harvesting with a 6,000 litre tank to collect the rainwater from the roof and service the toilet cisterns and will be delivered to LEED Gold certification and aligned with EU Taxonomy. • At Park Developments, we want to promote the value of a career in construction. Last week, we were delighted to welcome six students from various schools to partake in our TY work experience programme.   Over four days, the students gained hands-on experience in the fields of planning, design, engineering, health and safety, sustainability, construction, and sales and marketing. By spending time on several of our sites and at head office, they learned about the business operations across our entire value chain. Team members from each department provided a practical overview of their roles, showcasing the diverse career opportunities within Ireland's construction industry. We are already looking forward to welcoming our next group of TY students later this year.   #TYplacement #WorkExperience #CareersInConstruction #SocialInitiative

  • Last week Park Developments welcomed a number of agents to the launch of two of our Logistic developments. Here we gave a brief history of Park Developments’ experience in logistic and industrial units stemming back to the 1990s from Fashion City and M50 Business Park in Ballymount to Northern Cross and Northwest Logistics’ Park Phases 1-4. To date we have completed 3.2million sqft of industrial space with more to come!   Firstly, we visited Ellipse, the next generation of logistics located at Northwest Logistics Park in Ballycoolin where we have planning for 545,000sqft of logistics space along with a generous parkland area. Here we explained how our design of our logistics units has evolved to become more sustainable in design as well as operation. Further information can be found at www.ellipse.ie   We then travelled down the M50 to Apex Hub at Ballymount. This development consists of five units ranging from 34,000sqft to 80,000sqft with a clear internal height of 14.6m. Apex Hub will be the first modern logistics development in the Ballymount area for many years and the quality of finish as well as its proximity to the M50 is a rare opportunity. Unit 1 of 34,100sqft is currently under construction.    Further details can be found at www.apexhub.ie   All our units are designed to LEED Gold Standard and will align to EU Taxonomy to ensure they stand the test of time.  For enquiries please contact Savills Ireland CBRE Ireland
