Our Rural Future is a critical piece of policy for anyone that lives or works in rural Ireland. LDCN's priorities for the next iteration of the policy include, among other things, a strong focus on bottom-up, community-led local development, a ramping up of efforts to tackle rural poverty and social exclusion, and a strengthening of the social economy in rural communities. What are your priorities? Have your say before 2nd April via the survey below.
Our Rural Future has delivered real progress for people right across Ireland. We want your input to ensure we continue this progress. Complete our survey online; https://loom.ly/xkTC2Os

An important and incisive analysis of the CSO's most recent release of SILC data, by Paul Ginnell of the Irish branch of the EAPN - European Anti Poverty Network. While our economy may be working for many, it is certainly not working for all. Local Development Companies will continue to work with Government and other partners to tackle the impacts of rising poverty in our communities. https://lnkd.in/enexp-_x
