CIF Pension Administration Services (CPAS), was established in 2006 to provide a professional pension administration service to the construction and related industries in Ireland. We are registered with the Pensions Authority. CPAS provides a comprehensive suite of services to employers, members and trustees, ensuring they meet the needs of all stakeholders with confidence. We have an experienced and highly professional team providing excellent pension administration services to the construction sectors’ main schemes: *CWPS (Construction Workers’ Pension Scheme)*, has over 56,000 active members supported by over 7,500 active employers and is one of the largest private sector pension schemes in Ireland. (www.cwps.ie) *CERS (Construction Executive Retirement Savings)*, enables employers in the Construction and related industries to provide bespoke pension and protection benefits for their employees. (www.cers.ie) *CIRT (Construction Industry Retirement Trust)*, is a group retirement annuity contract for self-employed professionals in the construction and related industries. (www.cirt.ie) In addition to the provision of pension administration services to our clients, we administer a complete pension payroll process for the pension schemes. We administer the Construction Workers' Sick Pay Trust on behalf of the Construction Workers' Sick Pay Trustee Ltd. (www.cwspt.ie) and provide secretariat services the various Boards of Trustees. Today, on International Women’s Day, we’re putting the spotlight on the crucial conversation around women’s financial security in retirement. Our own Susan O'Mara will be joining the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) International Women’s Day Summit to discuss the challenges women face in pension planning and how we can bridge the gap. In her latest article in Construction Magazine, Susan highlights: 💡 Women in Ireland live longer but retire with less than men. 💡 Career breaks for caregiving often lead to gaps in pension contributions. 💡 The gender pension gap persists due to lower earnings and fewer contributions. 💡 Solutions like AVCs, employer contributions for maternity returners, and Auto-Enrolment can help improve outcomes.
