The start of 2025 also marks my two-year workiversary with SSP ✨ One of my biggest accomplishments in 2024 is having the opportunity to embark on the one-month #FlyLearnGrow journey to Australia and New Zealand 🇦🇺🇳🇿 The FLG programme initiated by SSP Asia Pacific offered me exposure to one of our largest markets. I had the privilege to visit when ARE integration and New Zealand market entry were taking place. Being able to learn from the SSP Australia & New Zealand Team, exchange best practices and build connections were the most valuable takeaways. I was particularly impressed with the following: 1. The team's abilility to manage multiple airport clients, curating tailor-made tender packages and mobilising projects across such vast territories. The opportunity to meet some of our airport partners such as Brisbane Airport and Hobart Airport was exceptionally beneficial to my BD role. Special thanks to Matthew Hill for being my FLG buddy - and a valuable mentor! 2. Very passionate and dedicated FOH + BOH team. We always see "can-do spirit" on JDs and resumes - the team truly delivers this! It's a delight to visit each unit shaped and run by our food & travel experts. Dominic Cain 3. Getting to visit some of our brand partners and their downtown outlets, including but not limited to LivEat, St. ALI, Veneziano, Hungry Jacks, Capital Brewing Co., ONA, Roll'd, the Tahua Group... 4. Cultural immersion! Getting a beer with colleagues after work, touring to wineries and breweries, visiting kangaroos and koalas... I have to admit Australia truly serves the best coffee 😁 Credits to our APAC People Team for this innovative programme to let me own my SSP development, especially Marcus L. and Cedric Kwong 's dedication. Getting excited to embrace the #bestpartofthejourney for 2025! SSP Group plc #ssp

SYNERGY in Action: A Celebration of Growth, Collaboration, and Vision This time last week, over 60 senior leaders from SSP Asia Pacific came together in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a momentous milestone: our first-ever regional conference, SYNERGY – Transforming Growth into Profit, FY25 APAC Strategy Conference. This was more than just a meeting – it was a testament to the power of collaboration, vision, and shared purpose. Over two dynamic days, we achieved two critical objectives: 1️. Building meaningful connections with partners and colleagues across the region. 2️. Aligning on a bold strategy for the future. From thought-provoking strategy sessions led by Jonathan Robinson, CEO of SSP Asia Pacific, and Patrick Coveney, Group CEO, to inspiring contributions from Jeremy Fennell, Group COO, Ann-marie Murphy (FCIPD), Chief People Officer and Leanne Knight, Group Director of Culture & People Experience, the conference was a masterclass in alignment and focus. Together, we reaffirmed our global and regional priorities, igniting a shared drive to push boundaries and exceed expectations. Our guest speakers and team-building activities exemplified what true synergy is all about – working together to achieve results greater than any individual effort could produce. Rain didn’t stop us; instead, it fuelled our competitive spirit during the Amazing Race – Malaysia Truly Asia, reminding us that resilience and teamwork always triumph. This conference wasn’t just about strategy; it was about inspiration. It was about reigniting relationships, fostering collaboration, and creating a powerful energy that will propel us forward. SYNERGY isn’t just a theme; it’s a call to action. It’s about unlocking our collective potential to innovate, grow, and make a lasting impact in food and beverage operations across the region. Let’s carry this momentum forward and continue to transform challenges into opportunities, ideas into actions, and growth into lasting success. The future is ours to create – together. Last week, SSP Asia Pacific proudly hosted the Synergy – Transforming Growth into Profit, FY25 APAC Strategy Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 🗣️ ✨ We were honoured to have some of our prestigious business partners speak to over 60 senior leaders of our business. Valuable insights regarding the evolving landscape of food and beverage services in airports was brought to light by Hani Ezra H., Senior General Manager of Commercial Services at Malaysia Airports. She emphasised the need to transform airports from transit hubs to cultural destinations that offer unique and memorable experiences.  Furthermore, Pret A Manger's Managing Director, Asia, Eira Jarvis, shared her perspectives on fostering effective franchisor – franchisee partnerships and adapting the brand offering to distinct demands of travel environments.  To conclude, Errol McGlothan, President, EMEA & APAC at Airport Dimensions, participated in a virtual discussion alongside Rajeev Panjwani, Head of Araya Lounges at TFS. They shared insights into Kyra Lounge, our tri party venture at Hong Kong International Airport, where design, customer experience, and culinary excellence sets a new benchmark for airport lounges. Our guest speakers exemplified true partnership, providing honest and constructive feedback that challenges us to continuously enhance our relationships and deliver greater value. This event truly embodied the essence of #synergy: “The interaction or cooperation of two or more organisations to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.” Here’s to a future where collaboration leads to exponential growth and innovation! 🎉🥂   #wearessp #lifeatssp #ssp #thebestpartofthejourney #synergy SSP Group plcSSP Australia & New ZealandSSP MalaysiaSSP ThailandSSP SingaporeJonathan Robinson
