The advancement of technology brings us convenience and enhances the quality of life for urban living. Schindler Hong Kong Technical Operations Center (TOC) leverages remote monitoring system to oversee the connected elevators and escalators performance around the clock. This system is designed to detect abnormalities automatically and sending alert immediately. This proactive approach allows our team to quickly identify the faults and dispatch technicians, reducing potential downtime for our customers. Digital Business Manager Mr. Xavier Fung mentioned that last time due to extreme weather, we were unable to resume the lift service on-site. The TOC played an important role in analyzing the breakdown issues through remote monitoring and arranging manpower based on the breakdown conditions. This summer, Schindler Hong Kong embraced the spirit of wellness with our "Happy Summer Friday" campaign, launched in July and August. It aimed to enhance employee wellness through a variety of engaging activities.   We organized a diverse range of fun activities:   - Scones and Jam Workshop for Parents and Kids: This interactive workshop strengthened the bond between parents and children, allowing families to create lasting memories together.   - Friday with the Elderly: In collaboration with Soap Cycling, we connected our employees with the elderly to recycle soap, create a meaningful impact and promote happiness among participants.   - Cool Summer: On 22nd July, a day marked as "Great Heat Day" in the traditional Chinese calendar, our Management Team and volunteer team visited various depots, job sites, and construction sites to distribute cool drinks to our frontline colleagues. This gesture not only expressed our appreciation for their contribution but also served as a reminder to stay hydrated during the hot summer.   - Gelato Day: To show our appreciation to our office staff, the Management Team scooped gelato for everyone. This delightful treat encouraged interaction and communication among colleagues.   In addition, we recognized the importance of physical wellness. We delivered a series of stretch exercise videos to our employees every Friday, featuring demonstrations by a certified yoga teacher.
