Gaw Capital Partners is a uniquely positioned private equity fund management company focusing on real estate markets in Asia Pacific and other high barrier-to-entry markets globally. Specializing in adding strategic value to under-utilized real estate through redesign and repositioning, Gaw Capital runs an integrated business model with its own in-house asset management operating platforms in commercial, hospitality, property development, logistics, IDC and education. The firm’s investments span the entire spectrum of real estate sectors, including residential development, offices, retail malls, serviced apartments, hotels, logistics warehouses and IDC projects. Gaw Capital has raised seven commingled funds targeting the Greater China and APAC regions since 2005. The firm also manages value-add/opportunistic funds in the US, a Pan-Asia Hospitality Fund, a European hospitality fund and a Growth Equity Fund, and it provides services for credit investments and separate account direct investments globally. Since 2005, Gaw Capital has raised equity of US$23.8 billion and commanded assets of US$34.4 billion under management as of Q4 2024.

  • 【Gaw Capital Announces Strategic Investment in CSI Properties】 Real estate private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners (Gaw Capital), today announces a strategic investment in CSI Properties Ltd. (0497.HK) (“CSI Properties”), a leading Greater China property investor and developer listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Gaw Capital, through investment vehicles (“GC”) owned by a consortium of institutional investors led by Gaw Capital as general partner, will invest up to HK$758 million (c. US$97 million) in CSI Properties in the form of public shares through a contemplated rights issue. GC also agreed to subscribe for a 4-year senior unsecured note to be issued by CSI Properties in an aggregate principal amount of HK$500 million (c. US$64 million). This investment focuses on addressing the cyclical nature of the property market. The decision to invest in CSI Properties allows Gaw Capital to participate in CSI Properties’ future growth during the economic rebound. Gaw Capital and CSI Properties share common ambition and commitment to narrow the significant discount of the market price of the company to the net asset value, thereby enhancing value for the shareholders of CSI Properties.
