  • 【🔎“Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme” Helping SMEs Attract Tourists】 Funded by the HKSAR Government with HK$500 million and administered by Cyberport, “Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme” provides funding support to local SMEs in the F&B, Retail, Tourism and Personal Services industries in adopting ready-to-use digital solutions in the categories of “Digital Payment Solutions and Shopfront Sales”, “Online Promotion”, and “Customer Management and Loyalty Solutions” to enhance their competitiveness. The 70-year-old Traditional Chinese sightseeing junk boat, Dukling, was approved for DTSPP, and successfully matched with the solution provider, Easytok Technology Limited, to adopt digital solutions in “Online Promotion”, to set up an account on the Mainland’s core social media platform, effectively raising awareness and interest among Mainland tourists. The proportion of Mainland tourists has now increased to 20% of its business, demonstrating remarkable effectiveness. In addition, the dessert shop, Dessert Palace, was approved for DTSPP, and successfully matched with the solution provider, EC Work, to adopt digital solutions in “Online Promotion”, to increase tourists’ patronage through well-written posts showcasing their signature desserts and dining experiences.   • 【Cyberport x Microsoft AI Partnership Programme】Cyberport Collaborates with Microsoft Hong Kong to Strengthen Hong Kong’s AI Ecosystem The Cyberport x Microsoft AI Partnership Programme, a collaboration programme between Cyberport and its Cyberport Technology Network (CTN) partner Microsoft Hong Kong, held the DEMO Day recently at Cyberport. The event announced the successful selection of six start-ups, five of which are Cyberport community start-ups, and attracted 50+ participants generating enthusiastic responses. The five selected Cyberport community start-ups span various fields, offering solutions in preparation to launch on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace that address healthcare, insurance claims, risk management, and corporate sustainability. As part of the Programme, the DEMO Day provided a platform for those selected companies to showcase their artificial Intelligence (#AI) technologies and solutions to potential customers and investors, addressing the industry pain points, facilitating business matches, thereby providing a springboard for their future business development. This collaboration is part of “HKonnect+”, a vision introduced by Microsoft Hong Kong last year, attracting 70 applicants to participate. The eligible companies will enter the advanced phase of the Programme, including the use of selected features of Azure AI, effectively equipping them to develop and build advanced and forward-looking solutions. As a start-up incubator and AI accelerator of Hong Kong, Cyberport has been dedicated to building a vibrant start-up ecosystem.   • 【Closed-Door Pitching】Cyberport Facilitated Investment Matching of AI Applications As the flagship of digital technology in Hong Kong, Cyberport is committed to assisting start-ups and investors in building connections and facilitating investment matching.   • #JUMPSTARTER2025】 Cyberport Collaborates with Our Community Members to Drive Local Artificial Intelligence Development Organised by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, the JUMPSTARTER for One Earth Global Pitch Competition (JUMPSTARTER for One Earth) recently concluded successfully at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.     Cyberport, as one of the co-organisers & strategic partners, and 4 Cyberport community start-ups, including ATTA Technologies, Butler Asia, Set Sail A.I. - setsail.ai, and SleekFlow, presented their artificial intelligence (#AI) technologies and innovative applications at the exhibition zone. In addition, Cyberport incubatee Alpha AI, one of the Top 30 Finalists, showcased its shortlisted applications, allowing the public to experience I&T achievements.     Dr Rocky Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Cyberport, not only interacted with start-ups on-site, but also served as one of the Officiating Guests at the JUMPSTARTER for One Earth Grand Finale. Additionally, Cyberport Chief Corporate Development Officer Ms Georgina Chu, Director of AI Applications Dr Crystal Fok, and Head of Engineering Services Prof Eddie Lock, attended panel discussions to discuss topics such as the unique advantages of the Greater Bay Area', the latest developments of Cyberport's Artificial Intelligence Supercomputing Centre (AISC), and opportunities in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) with the attending guests.     Currently, Cyberport brings together over 350 start-ups specialising in AI and big data R&D.   • #CareerFair2025】 AI-Driven Workplace Development Offers Over 2,000 Innovation and Technology Positions    The "Cyberport Career Fair 2025" was successfully held at the Cyberport campus from March 21 to 22, attracting over 580 companies and offering more than 2,000 positions, focusing on new career opportunities brought by artificial intelligence (#AI), and even recorded more than 5,000 participants.   Now that AI is rapidly changing the labor market, and the demand for AI talent is increasing. To better support the cultivation of innovation and technology (I&T) talent, this year’s expo was themed "Unveiling AI Career Opportunities" and was co-organised with the Hong Kong Youth Association for the first time, providing more platforms and opportunities for young people to expand their careers in I&T.    This year's job expo adopted a hybrid model of online and physical participation, with exhibitors including Hang Seng Bank, Centaline Group, and PCCW. Over 280 activities will be held during the expo, including forums, recruitment talks, and resume consultations, inviting industry experts to discuss trends in the I&T sector and opportunities in AI applications.
