This role is responsible for Internal Audit in Ghana, including the development and execution of Internal Audit plans, and the coordination of work with Corporate Audit. The direct reporting line is to the Internal Audit Manager, West Africa.     BDO in Ghana is Hiring The Tax Unit of BDO Ghana (formally SCG Chartered Accountant) has an entry level position available for a Tax Associate, who will support the team of experts. Key responsibilities: ·      Facilitating the registration of prospective clients with GRA ·      Preparing, reviewing and filing tax returns on behalf of clients ·      Responding to client Tax-related enquiries. ·      Preparing Client Corporate Income Tax and advising on tax liabilities ·      Assisting with Tax audits, health checks and due diligence engagements Experience and Education: ·      A degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Commerce. ·      A Level 1 student at Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT) Ghana or ACCA ·      Minimum of One (1) year working experience in Tax ·      Knowledgeable in computer systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly What we look for: ·      A strong desire to learn and specialize in Tax ·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ·      Good communication and interpersonal skills ·      Strong computer skills (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word) ·      Strong attention to detail and a questioning mind ·      Knowledge of and understanding of tax laws and accounting principles ·      Adopting the use of digital tools and strategies to drive innovation and efficiency ·      Growing your expertise through continuous learning and professional development What We Offer: ·      Educational support towards certification ·      Opportunities for professional growth and development. ·      Mentoring from various professionals in the firm.
