Our Chief sustainability officer, Audrey Peguret, recently took part in the 20th edition of the University of the Earth conference at UNESCO, on the theme "Taking Care of Our Resources". Audrey shared our approach to decarbonizing our activites aligned with the Science Based Target initiatives, our efforts to preserve biodiversity in collaboration with an ecologist and to manage ressources responsibly through strong purchasing policies. Our main challenge is raising customer awareness to rethink the guest experience and change habits. For example, Audrey also highlighted that our vegetable garden produces 10 tons of vegetables annually through a short-circuit approach, while the hotel maintains its 2,000m² gardens without the use of pesticides. Beyond the challenge, our commitment went even further! Under the leadership of Chef Jerome Legras, our kitchen teams partnered with Tout le monde contre le cancer to support their food truck initiative. They prepared three gourmet savory muffins, crafted with refined flavors.
