Exploring the borderland between body and garment, the Christian Dior Couture Fall 2025 collection explores and connects the area that determines the clothing habits of cultures round the world. Inspired by the kimono jacket – a nod to Monsieur Dior's archives – and her studies around the garment in two and three dimensions, the collection features jackets and coats with generous, enveloping lines, sometimes belted, and precious garments, both for their fabric, silk, and for the sketch of a Japanese garden that accompanies the silhouette. Maria Grazia Chiuri operates in the field of fashion around a kind of material soul where the garment is a contemporary body that integrates the equation of the Kimono and the quality of the textile into the architecture inherent in the Creative Director’s DNA. A metamorphic collection where black is intense, floral patterns become prints, and golden embroidery expresses a marvelous desire, linking fashion to architecture and, in its most intimate aspect, placing the body, bodies, at its heart. On the opening day of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo this Sunday, April 13, LVMH participated in the inauguration of the France Pavilion as its major partner, alongside France's Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad Laurent Saint Martin, actress and director Sophie Marceau and Olympic judo legend Teddy Riner. The LVMH Group affirmed its commitment to championing France's inimitable savoir-faire and art de vivre in Japan and more broadly, to diffuse the values of Made in France to the 28 million visitors expected to attend the event before the closing next October 13. At the heart of the France Pavilion, LVMH is showcasing five of its iconic Maisons in a country that holds special importance for the Group. Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Couture will be part of the permanent exhibition with two spaces created in collaboration with Japanese artists, scenographer, photographers and designers, while CELINE and CHAUMET will present temporary exhibitions. Moët Hennessy will enrich the visitor experience at the French Pavilion as hospitality partner. For the second year, the one-of-a-kind LVMH Clash of Titans competition returned with remarkable creativity! Proudly hosted by Louis Vuitton, this year’s edition challenged participants to develop an innovative product strategy to position the iconic Maison as a leader in regenerative practices. While over 600 students presented their project, only 20 finalists made the cut. Representing top schools — ESSEC Business School, HEC Paris, London Business School, and SDA Bocconi — the 20 finalists were grouped into four teams, with each team proudly representing one school. Ahead of the final presentations, they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Louis Vuitton, visiting the Champs-Élysées flagship store to experience its unique client journey and discover the Maison’s growing vision of hospitality. The finalists impressed a distinguished jury from LVMH and Louis Vuitton with highly creative and innovative strategies, tailored to real client needs and backed by strong go-to-market plans. Held during Salone del Mobile at Casa Cabana in Milan, the exhibition brought together international artisans whose work reflected a dialogue between tradition and innovation. Curated by Deborah Needleman and presented by Martina Mondadori, founder of Cabana, “Speak, Memory” highlighted the role of artisans as storytellers — preserving rare savoir-faire while shaping the future of creation. Many of the featured pieces incorporated materials sourced from LVMH Métiers d’Art’s ateliers, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration at the heart of this exceptional project.
