🔋Framatome secures long-term fuel supply contract for Gösgen in Switzerland We are proud to extend our partnership with Kernkraftwerk Gösgen-Däniken AG (KKG) through a long-term contract for the supply of HTP fuel assemblies and in-core fuel management services. From 2026, our fuel will continue to power the Gösgen nuclear plant, ensuring reliable and carbon-free electricity for Switzerland. 🤝 “KKG is a longstanding customer, and we have supplied fuel to the Gösgen plant for decades,” said Lionel GAIFFE, senior executive vice president, Fuel Business Unit at Framatome. “We are pleased to continue to support our customer through the long-term delivery of our safe, reliable and high-performance HTP fuel.” 🔬45+ years of collaboration have also led to major advancements in nuclear fuel technology, including research on Enhanced Accident Tolerant Fuel (E-ATF). Gösgen has been at the forefront of innovation, becoming in 2024 the world’s first reactor to operate with full-length fuel rods above 60 GWd/tU. By integrating Segault’s specialized expertise, this strategic move reinforces supply chain security and supports the long-term resilience of the nuclear sector. Founded in 1921 and based near Paris, Segault is a key supplier of critical components for nuclear safety. Its valves equip a quarter of the world’s operating nuclear power plants as well as the nuclear propulsion systems of submarines and the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. 🔧 Upgrading the Instrumentation & Control System at Leibstadt Nuclear Power Plant Framatome has been selected by Kernkraftwerk Leibstadt (KKL) to modernize the instrumentation & control (I&C) system at Switzerland’s most powerful nuclear plant. We will implement the latest generation of our TELEPERM XS digital technology, a worldwide reference for safety and efficiency. 💬 "This modernization will not only enhance the safety and efficiency of Switzerland’s most powerful nuclear plant, but also reinforce our shared commitment with KKL for their extended safe operations at Leibstadt." – Frederic Lelievre, SEVP, Sales, Regional Platforms and I&C Business Unit, Framatome. 💬 "With this project, we are making an important contribution to continuous modernization for safe, long-term operation until at least 2045." – Roland Schmidiger, Managing Director, Kernkraftwerk Leibstadt AG. 🚀 Framatome recrute à Montbard ! 🚀 Ce samedi, nous avons participé au forum emploi organisé par l’UIMM Côte-d’Or et AJIIR, un rendez-vous incontournable pour l’industrie et l’emploi en Bourgogne. Une belle opportunité pour échanger avec des candidats motivés et faire découvrir nos opportunités ! 🔎 75 postes sont ouverts dans notre plan de recrutement 2025 à Montbard, tous profils confondus. Grâce à cet événement, nous avons pu rencontrer une cinquantaine de candidats aux parcours variés : alternants en maintenance, responsables qualité, ingénieurs mécaniques, techniciens de maintenance, animateurs HSE… 🚀 Framatome vise 500 à 600 recrutements en Bourgogne en 2025 dont 300 dans les usines de la proche Saône-et-Loire. Framatome was honored to participate to the Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum in Gdansk – Poland, on Mach 18th and 19th .    With 14 EPRs either in operation or under construction, Framatome addresses the industry challenge going standard. Standardization plus our commitment to deliver every year components for up to 3.5GWe of new nuclear is a powerful lever to ease financing of new nuclear programs. So, with our proven technology, full European IP, qualified supply chain and available capabilities, we are ready to deliver #Countonit.    The access to human resources was also intensively discussed among participants during the Forum; definitely a key challenge for the success of the nuclear programs in the region. Here too you can count on us ; we have developed the Framatome Education Program to support our University and School Partners to meet the challenge!
