We are thrilled to announce, alongside our partners FireTracking and Axione, the deployment of our wildfire detection solution by the Indre-et-Loire department. Together, we are implementing a network of smart cameras and an alert system capable of monitoring 95% of the department’s forested areas, drastically reducing firefighters’ response times at SDIS 37 - Service Départemental d’Incendie et de Secours d'Indre-et-Loire. For the past two years, Emerton Data experts have been working hand in hand with the FireTracking teams within Kaukana Ventures, our startup studio, to develop and refine an AI-based detection system that delivers unprecedented performance: 🔍 Fire outbreak detection in under 3 minutes, 📉 A false alarm rate below 10%, 📌 Highly precise localization, even with a single camera. This innovation, combined with Axione’s expertise in digital infrastructure, demonstrates how AI can provide an effective response to environmental challenges.
