Our new station design is live: meet the Electraline! The concept was revealed at the Paris Motor Show just a couple of months ago. Today, it’s up and running, on our 400 kW Wetteren station in Belgium. 🇧🇪 Electra has reimagined its stations to delight users at every stop: 👉 The new design brings together cozy vibes, smart modularity, chill zones, and eco-friendly materials. 👉 There is a roof for better comfort, especially when raining or too much sun. 👉 Interactive LED screens keep things fun and informative, displaying real-time info on pricing, availability and power. 👉 And maybe soon… a few games between drivers to win free kWh It’s all about making our charging stations even more welcoming. Our ambition is to make the Electraline the new standard across all Electra stations, with three versions designed to adapt to local constraints. Big kudos to our Electrons making the magic happen ! Pauline Gloumeau - Valeriia Ilicheva - Antoine Questel - Maxence de Chambure - Chloé Auriol - Brice Bourreau - Constance Coulmont - Nina David - Alexandre Ramo - Etienne de Valbray - Thibaud Couetil - Pieter-Jan Van Nuffel - Alan Transon - Adrien Maumont - Loïck Payen - Lionnel DUPOUY - Roger C. And a big thank you to our industrial partners for their industrial & operational excellence! PS: Big things start with little drawings 😅

From law to e-mobility, Sophia Carter’s path has been anything but linear ! Since Sophia is often traveling between countries, she’s frequently seen with her suitcase. So we imagined what might be inside! 🧳 After starting her career as a corporate lawyer, she brought her strategic mindset to the EV charging world, working with key players across Europe before joining Electra in 2024 as Roaming Manager. La French Tech Mission and its network are partnering to highlight the women who are making French Tech happen, in France and the rest of the world. What triggered your interest in tech? “My passion for tech started with a personal challenge: being able to charge my EV far from home without running out of battery. While searching for internships, I noticed that several companies were tackling this exact issue. I saw an opportunity to combine my legal and commercial skills to help, and that’s how it all began !” The thing you’re most proud of? "Changing countries, languages, industries, and roles in just a few years isn’t easy. Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come — from junior lawyer to partnerships professional at Electra, without a set roadmap. I hope this journey encourages other women to take the leap too 💪 !” What is your wildest career goal? “I’m excited by the incredible innovations emerging in energy. If a sustainable, reliable way to cut energy production costs, without relying on fuels or minerals, ever becomes reality, I’d love to help bring it to Electra… and eventually, to the world. 💭" If you could go back in time, is there anything you would do differently? “I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. I am deeply grateful for all of challenges and opportunities that I have encountered along the way - they were all necessary so that I could arrive at the amazing stage in life that I am currently at now.”

BREAKING NEWS: Electra is coming to the US 🇺🇸 After building one of Europe’s top fast-charging networks, we’re heading across the Atlantic. Why the US? Because even in the land of drive-thrus and 6-lane highways, fast, seamless charging is still too hard. Time to bring some Electra magic. We hesitated. The economic climate isn’t ideal, the EV transition is debated. But we’re sure of one thing: electric mobility is unstoppable, even in the US. And it’s already happening: 👉Our General Manager is currently based in Austin, Texas 👉We’ll open in June our first office in Chicago 👉First stations coming soon in Texas, California, and a third surprise state 👉 Electraline XXL will be rolled out on our flagship stations. Because yes, in America, size does matter. We’re beyond excited. Let’s see where this road leads.

It’s the only sector where emissions have skyrocketed over the last 30 years. Industry, energy, buildings… All have reduced their carbon footprint since 1990. But one sector stands out as an exception: Transport. +33.5%, that’s the increase in CO₂ emissions from transport in Europe between 1990 and 2019. Meanwhile, total EU emissions dropped by 25.9%. How is this paradox possible? Because many modes of transport still rely on fossil fuels. Because alternatives took time to emerge. But the good news is, things are changing: - Cities are becoming more pedestrian-friendly (like Boulevard Anspach in Brussels, shown in the photo below). - Trains, bikes, walking… these alternatives are gaining ground. - Public transport is being strengthened. - Electrification is becoming mainstream. Looking at the bigger picture, change is happening, and for the better. Let’s keep up the momentum! 🌞

Everyone tells you to step out of your comfort zone. But no one tells you what you'll find there. We love settling into it. It’s familiar, reassuring, in control. But one day, we realize we’re going in circles. That we’re mistaking security for stagnation. So, we climb higher, push harder, go further. Maybe you switch up your routine by swapping your comfort meal for something you've never home-cooked before. Or perhaps, you read a damn good novel instead of scrolling on your phone. And every time we push past our limits, we end up creating a new comfort zone. Because the real challenge isn’t escaping it… …It’s expanding it. Look at the EVs. Your first EV road trip… and suddenly, range anxiety is gone. Your first stop at a fast-charging station… and you realize charging is simpler than expected. Your first month without stopping at a gas station… and you’ve already saved a good amount of money. What if true comfort was always being one step ahead?

We could have let our new CFO co-write this post… but he’s off in the mountains for a few days. So, we’ll try to introduce him ourselves. With 12 years of experience in finance, energy, and innovation, he’s played a key role at Innovafeed (Next40), helping secure €300M in Series D funding. He’s also worked at the French Ministry of Economy and the European Commission, giving him deep expertise in EU-wide financial and regulatory matters, and a sharp eye for numbers. Now, he’s joining us to structure, optimize, and support Electra’s rapid international growth. With 70% of our 2030 target already secured and over €1 billion in infrastructure investments, his arrival marks a major step in strengthening our position as Europe’s leading ultra-fast charging network. 🇪🇺 We’re thrilled to welcome Clément Tiret to the team as our new Chief Financial Officer! Welcome aboard, Clément! 🧗⛰️

International Women's Day may have been last week, but the fight for equality continues beyond March 8. In the tech industry, women remain underrepresented, and each story of perseverance is important. 💜 Today, meet Cécile Lesgourgues, a woman who didn’t just change careers, she reinvented her own path. Moving from marketing to software engineering, she embraced her passion for logic and problem-solving, proving that it's never too late to pursue your true calling. At Electra, she’s not only coding, she’s mentoring, learning, and creating opportunities for others. All while balancing work, training, and family. Because women in tech aren’t just participants; they lead, innovate, and redefine the game. 1) What triggered your interest in tech? “I always had special interest in mathematics and logics. I was at a point in my professional life where the lack of technical skills I was using made things a bit pointless. Learning coding, algorithm, network architecture was very appealling !” 2) The thing you’re most proud of? “Having been able to smoothly change of career over eight years, by following two successive long training sessions, and while working and taking care of my three kids. And most of all, at the end, enjoy my job.” 3) What is your wildest career goal? “When I arrived at Electra, I had a strong experience on front end development, and my wildest career goal was a lot different than today. I’ve been offered the possibility to extend my skills to other parts of software engineering, while being a referer on my initial area of expertise. This is much more satisfying.” 4) If you could go back in time, is there anything you would do differently? “I sometimes think I could have embraced my actual career sooner. But who knows, things may have turned out different !” La French Tech
