⭐🚢 𝗔 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁! Cryostar is proud to be associated with the first of 6 retrofit projects to be carried out in Singapore aimed at reducing emissions on DFDE vessels for a large customer. ✅ Cryostar will supply a complete CM4-200 Fuel Gas Compressor and commissioning for each vessel as a key part of each of the upgrades. ✅ The first vessel was completed recently and is back in operation. ⭐We are delighted to announce that we successfully launched our “IFS” ERP system at Cryostar UK's Business Center, in Rotherham on January, in line with our roll-out schedule. 🚀 ✅ This follows the GO LIVE given in 2022 at CRYOSTAR France, where our Head Office, our production facilities, our compressor and turbine assembly and testing buildings and our “Machine Design and Development” Department are located. My name is Hassina REKIMA and I joined the cryogenics field 23 years ago, at CRYOSTAR. I started out as a pump sales engineer, working alongside two seniors who taught me a lot. Today, I'm the Sales Manager for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. 𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛? I've always been curious and eager for new challenges, and this job fulfills me completely. I'm passionate about negotiation, the international environment and the cultural and technological diversity in which I work. There's business, of course, but above all, it's about people: proposing appropriate solutions, making decisions, adapting to situations and working as part of a team. 𝐀𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬? When I started out, there was a certain amount of astonishment, both internally and among certain clients. However, I've never really encountered any hostility or insurmountable obstacles.  One anecdote springs to mind: I once had a client calling to discuss technical matters and he asked me to put him in touch with a man. I quickly realized that I had to convince them through my expertise, reliability and seriousness. Once trust was established, there was no room for doubt. I was lucky enough to work alongside great technical experts, who believed in me and supported me. I believe that anything is achievable, and when people asked me why I had chosen this path, I always replied with a smile: “And why not?” 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? You have to dare and not censor yourself.  With hard work and dedication, you can blossom fully in this still predominantly male world, and find your place in it with pride. Every young woman must have confidence in her ability to bring value to this field. There's no single path to get there, and the industry offers real opportunities for those who want to get involved.  When I applied at CRYOSTAR, my profile didn't “fit the mold”: I was the only female candidate for the job, among a multitude of male resumes perhaps more qualified than me in this area. However, my recruiter chose to believe in my potential. Since then, I've remained true to myself. I've never conformed to expectations or stereotypes: I do my job with my personality, my make-up, my manicure and my high heels. Yes, ladies, you can be feminine and work in an industrial field!
