OFC 2025 celebrating its 50th anniversary in San Francisco is now over . This started with an interesting statement made during the opening session that 200Gb/s per lane speed is a "sweet spot" to scale networks , enough cost effective and low power implementation. During those 4 days 3SP Technologies team attended lots of nteresting technical sessions mainly on high speed modulators and data center interconnect and supported O-Net Technologies Sales team into many customers' meetings. This has been a fruitful and busy week. 3SP Technologies thanks its customers for their availability to discuss product roadmaps and forthcoming requirements Our team hopes to see you next year in Los Angeles!

ECOC 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany, was really a vibrant conference, in which new technological advances were showcased, and new market trends were clearly highlighted. 3SP Technologies (3SPT), together with colleagues from O-Net Technologies, participated in this conference. During this event, 3SPT announced 700 mW Raman pumps with record low power consumption (press release is accessible at https://lnkd.in/eEg5XRWs). Real time demo of a high power ITLA emitting 18 dBm across the whole C-Band powered by 3SPT’s gain chips was made at the O-Net booth. New 3SPT products such as 10 pin cooled dual-chip pumps, ultra-compact 3 pin uncooled dual-chip pumps and ultra-compact 3 pin uncooled high power pumps were also exhibited. #ECOC2024

Up to 700mW Raman pump laser at a low 11W max power consumption   Based on its 30 years’ experience of InP based pump laser technology, 3SP Technologies launches on the market a new high-performance Raman 14xxnm pump laser module: 1948RUB. The laser efficiency has been pushed up with low penalty on maximum achievable power, leading to a best-in-class overall power consumption of 11W (End Of Life) at Chip temperature 35°C and Case temperature 70°C for 700mW output power. This new chip allows also the power consumption reduction of 2W for 500mW (7W vs 9W) and 3W for 600mW (9.5W vs 12.5W) compared to the current generation of Raman pumps.   For more details --> https://lnkd.in/ebKtDPbx
