25 – 30% reduction in embodied carbon for Green Globes certification from the Green Building Initiative. That’s what the project team behind The Village SF achieved by using life-cycle assessment (LCA) to compare mass timber against conventional structural materials. Located in San Francisco’s Mission District, this six-story project brings together restorative design, community-centered programming, and measurable environmental performance.
