  • A warm welcome to our new Metso colleagues! On April 3, we were delighted to welcome our new colleagues from STM to the Metso team. During the welcome event in Baden, Switzerland, we had great discussions and a delicious lunch together. It’s inspiring to see our long-time collaboration evolve with the new setup.   • Our new Dewatering Development Hub in Irapuato, Mexico, is officially open – bringing faster lead times, localized support, and innovation to mining customers across the Americas. The facility will be inaugurated on April 10, together with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders. Watch the journey of how we built this hub to drive innovation in the region!

  • Metso is awarded with a thickener modernization order in Mexico. The objective of the modernization is to improve water recovery rates and decrease the amount of process water required, which is particularly important for areas experiencing water scarcity. Furthermore, the retrofits will enhance equipment performance, thereby reducing operating costs and increasing operational efficiency. STM’s expertise in vertical grinding mills strengthens Metso’s leading comminution solutions and services portfolio and plays a vital role in the creation of energy-efficient, future-proof solutions for our customers.
