Business consultancy firm Adlanter has joined Tech Barcelona as a Corporate Partner to boost startup growth in the city. With extensive experience advising large corporations, SMEs, public administrations, venture capital funds, and associations, Adlanter has now expanded its reach to include startups in its client portfolio. 📦 Under the name "Startup in a Box," the service launched by Adlanter in February provides guidance from the moment a startup is created, ensuring the establishment of financial processes. So, this Irish woman, an Italian and an English man (half Irish) walk onto a rooftop in Barcelona... That was the star that is Niamh Mannion (aka Hype Girl), the tech whiz that is Luca Lamorte, and myself as we pitched Diigima Creative Studio at Tech Barcelona's Afterwork last Thursday night. For me, everything is an opportunity for storytelling, so we aimed to engage the audience with a double act from Niamh and myself, while Luca filmed it live. We weren't there to film the event, just to pitch, but with Luca improvising, we've created a 30 sec vid, so you can see for yourself what it was like. It was a lot of fun, great for networking and I met some brilliant people (including an intriguing conversion about curiosity with Nury Rector Rubio). Huge thanks to Marina Rosales Puy for organising the afterwork, accepting us as members and giving us the opportunity to pitch. As a trio, we've got more creative collaborations planned, so see you on the rooftop at the next Tech Barcelona Afterwork...

Barcelona-based Sateliot has closed its Series B round at €70 million to launch a constellation of more than 100 satellites to provide global connectivity, particularly in remote areas. Several investors participated in the round, including Hyperion Fund, SETT (Spanish Government), Global Portfolio Investments, the European Investment Bank (EIB), and strategic partners like Indra, Cellnex Telecom, GRUPO SEPIDES, AVANÇSA, and Santander. 🗣️ Jaume Sanpera 🛰, CEO & co-founder of Sateliot and member of Tech Barcelona with more than 30 years of experience in the tech sector: "I have to say we have a super-scalable model because we don’t need to deploy any devices. The devices are going to be powered by the final customer, which are regular, fully standard devices that are already there". Sateliot has already launched six satellites into space: 🟢 €270 million in contracts. 🟢 400 customers in 50 countries around the world. 🟢 On track to have a turnover of €1 billion by 2030. #InBarcelonaWeTech
