Flexibility continues to be a priority in the workplace, with Robert Walter's latest data showing 74% of employee's name commutes as a major factor when considering a new job. Sean Puddle, Managing Director of Robert Walters North America, spoke to Employee Benefit News on today's commuting costs, where we found 60% of employees believe commutes are the most important expense employers can subsidize. "In a world where we're not seeing massive salary increases, the battle to attract and retain talent will be in the benefits, so think about being flexible and consider financial benefits that relieve some of the commuting cost pain".
