💥 We made (pre)history! At the Museo Evolución Humana in Atapuerca, our mobile manipulator #TIAGo accomplished a live demonstration solving a problem through thinking and tool use thanks to the advanced #AI-driven reasoning and adaptability. The live demo was part of MetaTool Project EU that aims to explore how #robots can invent and use tools drawing inspiration from the way prehistoric humans adapted to their environment. The event was a unique opportunity to witness and test advanced #robotics research in action and how this progress will impact different industries. Thanks to the organisers for this amazing opportunity! --- 💥 ¡Hicimos (pre)historia! En el Museo de la Evolución Humana en Atapuerca, nuestro manipulador móvil #TIAGo realizó una demostración en vivo resolviendo un problema mediante razonamiento y uso de herramientas, gracias a un avanzado sistema de #IA adaptable. La demo formó parte del proyecto europeo #MetaTool, que investiga cómo los #robots pueden inventar y utilizar herramientas inspirándose en cómo lo hicieron los humanos prehistóricos para adaptarse a su entorno. A #ERF2025 nuestro compañero Joel Garcia tuvo la oportunidad de hablar sobre el proyecto Capsul-IA y enseñar nuestro manipulador móvil #TIAGo. El objetivo del proyecto es la difusión del uso de la inteligencia artificial #IA en la industria simplificando los procesos de adopción con soluciones preconfiguradas. Como dice el nombre, Capsul-IA se plantea proponer #cápsulas con modelos de IA equilibrando coste y calidad. PAL Robotics contribuye al proyecto desarrollando el manipulador móvil TIAGo para entornos de atención médica e industrial reduciendo el umbral para la adopción industrial de la IA. #robotics #innovación
