Turicleta, the startup focused on sustainable mobility solutions for rural tourism, has successfully closed its first round of financing for €500,000, with the participation of Fondo Bolsa Social as an investor. Founded in 2023 by Alberto Gómez-Chacón Villalba and Mariana Boadella, Turicleta seeks to expand its network of electric bicycle rental stations in rural areas throughout Spain. Javier Fontcuberta has been reconfirmed as managing partner of Cuatrecasas, Rafael Fontana as non-executive senior partner, and Luis Perez as new non-executive senior partner from January 1, 2026. The appointments, part of the succession process in the firm’s governing bodies, were approved at the Extraordinary Partners Meeting held in Barcelona on April 10th. Five new partners were also appointed. Fontcuberta brings more than two decades of experience in corporate law, M&A, and compliance. Clifford Chance has advised Arjun Infrastructure Partners and Aberdeen Investments on their acquisition of an additional stake in Onivia, Spain’s leading independent fibre network operator, now holding a 40% stake each. As a result, Arjun and Aberdeen, have become majority shareholders in Onivia, while Macquarie Capital holds the remaining 20% stake. All three investment firms will continue to co-control Onivia. The firm has provided support to both Arjun Infrastructure Partners and Aberdeen Investments through a multidisciplinary and cross-border team that included professionals from the Madrid and London offices. The film, a Spanish remake of the famous comedy “Un Funeral de Muerte”, will be released in theaters on April 11, 2025.
