𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 hosted the 6th General Assembly of the MAST3RBoost HE project. Over the past few days, insightful discussions have taken place regarding the progress made among all consortium partners in sustainable and efficient ways to store H2.   ♻️💧𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝟑𝐑𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 is using recycled raw materials from agroforestry waste biomass and solid urban waste to create a new generation of ultraporous materials for high-density hydrogen storage. The project aims to provide a solid benchmark of cold-adsorbed H2 storage low compression (100 bar or below). La Universidad ha organizado el evento con el apoyo de ADERA-UT2A, nueva entidad socia que se une al esfuerzo conjunto para desarrollar tecnologías más sostenibles y competitivas en el tratamiento de superficies. 👩🏫Cristina Hernández, researcher at 𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞, took part in the Advanced Battery Power Conference held in Aachen. Elena Jubete, Business Development Manager de Programas Europeos en 𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, ha sido la representante de CIDETEC en la asamblea general de EARTO - European Association of Research and Technology Organisations y en su conferencia anual, celebradas en Valencia. 🔬Más de 250 participantes, provinientes de centros tecnológicos de toda Europa, se han reunido en una conferencia que, bajo el lema 𝐍𝐨 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 ha puesto el foco en defender la necesidad de una financiación europea digna, con oportunidades para I+D aplicada. 🤝𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 hosted the final meeting of the COMETA project, co-financed by @CDTI_innovacion and the European Union under the Eurostars program. The project’s goal was to develop and validate improved REACH compliant protective coatings for aluminium alloys, along with a method to detect the presence of the conversion coating – an essential challenge, as its correct application is often difficult to verify. ⤴️𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 played a key role in optimising the scale-up application of these conversion coatings at its facilities. 👉The consortium brings together leading experts in surface treatment, metrology and optical industries: FINITEC ELECTROLISIS SL (coordinator), SENSOFAR, DOK-Chemie GmbH and Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon as partners, and 𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 as subcontractor. #CidetecSurfaceEngineering #SkinOfThings #CIDETEC #COMETA
