El próximo 8 de abril a las 9:30 h, Applus+, en colaboración con ECIJA, participará en el evento “De la información a la diligencia debida en materia de sostenibilidad”. El evento se celebrará de manera presencial en las oficinas de ECIJA, en la calle Serrano (Madrid). El objetivo de esta sesión es explorar metodologías efectivas para abordar la diligencia debida en materia de derechos humanos y medio ambiente de las empresas, a través de su integración en la estrategia y cultura del negocio, la gobernanza, la identificación y gestión de los riesgos, así como la transparencia y comunicación hacia las partes interesadas. Durante el evento se analizará en profundidad la Directiva de Diligencia Debida en Sostenibilidad (UE) 2024/1760 y las modificaciones introducidas por la nueva Ley Ómnibus. Expertos del sector abordarán los principales retos regulatorios y compartirán las mejores prácticas para implementar sistemas de diligencia debida. Además, se presentará la alianza estratégica entre Applus+ y ECIJA, diseñada para ofrecer soluciones integrales que apoyen a las empresas en su proceso de adaptación a las nuevas exigencias normativas. 🚰 As we celebrate #WorldWaterDay, we recognise the vital role of sustainable water management in protecting our planet’s most precious resource. The Praceres Wastewater Treatment Project, with Applus+ as a key technical partner, has won the XIII San Telmo Award for its contribution to sustainability in Galicia. The award, presented by the Galician Association of Civil Engineers (CICCP) on 14th October 2024, highlights this project as a landmark in wastewater treatment and environmental protection. At Applus+, we were honoured to provide technical assistance to the project management. 💧Led by Aguas de Galicia and delivered by UTE EDAR Praceres (Acciona Construcción and Acciona Agua), this initiative has significantly reduced pollution in the Pontevedra estuary, improving water quality and benefiting the local community. Using advanced treatment technologies, the plant now serves 260,000 people without expanding its footprint, all while meeting the strict environmental standards set by EU Directive 91/271/EEC. #WorldWaterDay2025 #WaterManagement #Engineering #Infrastructure #ApplusEI
