Our good friends/partners from Paul-Tech and their soil stations have monitored the impact of different cultivation methods on the plant-growing environment in a trial we organised. With Paul-Tech's kind permission, we are republishing an overview of the effects of different agro-techniques on plant-growing conditions, which was first published on their blog. The trial was carried out on a field in Tartumaa, Rannu Seemne OÜ, where field peas were in the crop rotation in 2024, preceded by a diverse cover crop. Link to the results down below. 👇

In January, we had the pleasure of attending the Northern Roots NGO Forum in Tallinn. Northern Roots is a regenerative agriculture forum that focuses on the agricultural model of the future - one that preserves our soil and environment, provides nutritious food, and is economically sustainable. As part of the event, our lovely in-house podcast team, led by Kristjan Anderson and Elmar Reinhold, recorded eight podcast episodes with the keynote speakers to pick their brains. They talked about farming in Australia (and why there aren't any bad farmers left in there), purchasing an abandoned village in Portugal, food production and how microbiomes, nutrition and soil health are related to it, switching from traditional farming to conservation agriculture, and so much more. Here's a teaser clip. If you're interested in learning more about regenerative agriculture, eAgronom's Kabiinijutud x Northern Roots Special podcast episodes are definitely for you! The link to the podcast series is underneath the post in the comments.
