She plays a key role in shaping our team and fueling our continuous growth. Beyond Spirii, Aly is dedicated to supporting the international community in Denmark through career mentoring. She also keeps her mind sharp with books 📚 and stays active with Pilates.🧘♀️ We’re grateful to have her on board! 💜 What do you enjoy most about working at Spirii? Is it cliché to say “the people”? But truly, the colleagues you work with make all the difference. From day one, Spirii has been a place of genuine trust, respect, and warmth. ❤️ I felt welcomed from the beginning and was shown immediate trust as the first leader of a brand-new People department. Spirii’s commitment to creating a supportive and kind environment has been unwavering, and even a year later, that hasn’t changed. I’m very grateful to be part of it. 🙏 What is your role at Spirii? I am the Director of People, building and guiding our HR/People department to create an environment where everyone can thrive.🌟 Outside of work, what are you passionate about? I'm passionate about helping others, and in my free time, I mentor other internationals who have moved to Denmark 🌍, providing career counseling, CV reviews, mock interviews, and overall support. Having moved here myself, I know firsthand the challenges of relocating, especially starting fresh in a career and building a new network. Outside of mentoring, I love to read 📚, travel extensively ✈️, and lately, I’ve become a fan of reformer Pilates. Random, I know, but it’s been a new and rewarding pursuit! What’s your dream EV road trip destination, and why? That’s a tough one! Honestly, I’d love to take a cross-country road trip across the U.S. 🚗🇺🇸 I’m originally from Chicago 🏙️ and have traveled extensively around the States, but I’ve never done the classic coast-to-coast drive. There’s something special about exploring the natural wonders and quirks of each state along the way. Meet Alexandra M. – a fantastic colleague to have around. 🌟 When she’s not wearing multiple hats in our Solution Rollout team, you'll find her enjoying the outdoors or perfecting her pizza dough. 🍕 Keep reading to get to know her better! 💜 What motivated you to join Spirii ? I love SaaS - it's where I feel most "at home" when working. But with so many companies out there, I wanted to find one where the product, mission, and culture truly resonated with me (Millennial alert! 😄). Spirii checked all those boxes! I wanted to work on something with a tangible impact, not just optimising abstract processes. Spirii’s software has a physical element that really appeals to me. Oh, and Spirii’s brand colour is my favourite, so it was meant to be! 💜 🌟 What do you enjoy most about working at Spirii? It’s the people-first culture and the constant opportunities for growth. The industry is always changing, and Spirii is at a stage where not every process is set in stone. In my role, there’s no rigid structure, so I’m able to think critically and sharpen my problem-solving skills. I also feel truly supported by both my colleagues and leadership. There's a genuine care and respect for everyone, even during the busiest times. Spirii allows me to grow, balance personal life, and be myself - what’s not to love! 🙌 🤹♀️ What is your role, and what does a typical day look like for you? I work in the Solution Rollout team, overseeing the end-to-end implementation of Spirii’s products for our international partners. There’s no such thing as a typical day in SRO, which is what makes the role so exciting. Some days, I feel like an e-mobility consultant; others, I’m playing the PM role. I also get the chance to travel, dip into new market expansion, or focus on CX work. The variety of tasks, challenges, and impact keeps me engaged, and at this stage in my career, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. ✨ 🏕️ Outside of work, what are you passionate about? I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, hiking, cycling, swimming, or paddle-boarding. I also enjoy a light walk in a beautiful spot or simply reading in the sun. But since winters in Denmark are tough for me, I tend to shift my focus indoors during that time. My favourite winter activities are reading novels and baking (and yes, I make an excellent pizza dough! 🍕). 🗺️ What is your dream EV road trip destination, and why? The Pan-American Highway, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina. It would take me through countries I love or want to visit, with stunning scenery along the way.
