In a very inspiring panel discussion this morning, Enrico Letta said the words above which resonated with me a lot. 🇩🇰 In Denmark, we are strong in Quantum but we are still a small country. That’s why we in Sparrow Quantum are focused on building partnerships across Europe and beyond to advance the industry. And that’s why we are also proud to be part of the EIC - European Innovation Council family. 🇪🇺 The last two days offered a lot of opportunities for learning and networking. It was truly inspiring to see the great work that so many innovative companies do across Europe. At Sparrow, we will do our best to contribute to innovation in Europe.

We're proud to be part of 𝐍𝐨𝐐𝐓𝐞𝐒 — a European effort funded by the European Union through EURAMET - The European Association of National Metrology Institutes to develop traceable, standardized methods for characterizing quantum sensors based on Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. These atomic-scale sensors are among the most advanced in the world, enabling ultra-sensitive detection of electromagnetic fields, temperature, and pressure at the nanoscale. The goal? We kicked off the very first AI4Quantum Conference – Accelerating Quantum Computing with AI, hosted by Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet). The scientific committee, represented by Gemma Solomon and Morten Kjaergaard, highlighted the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of AI and quantum computing, sharing their ambitious visions for future user cases in this field. Our invited speaker, Kasra Nowrouzi from Berkeley Lab, delved into deep co-design and architectural AI questions. Concluding the day with a final remark - that we haven’t even gotten into pure quantum algorithms yet - paving the way for future AI4 Quantum events!
