  • 🚀 It’s Inauguration Day—for the U.S. and for Clause Out. After 9 months of beta testing and #BuildingWithThePublic, our policy platform is open for business. 🧐 Let’s be real: We've known for a while that social media algorithms reward extreme views. But now these companies have made the decision to drop fact-checking in favor of community moderation. It's harder than ever to tell fact from fiction - or even have access to the same facts. That's why we've built Clause Out: to cut through the noise and give you a direct line to policy information and influencers. 📲 Our product helps you: ✔ Stay on top of issues that matter to you with clear, timely updates. ✔ Vote securely & anonymously - because your opinion should count. ✔ Engage in structured debate to put your arguments to the test. ✔ Make an impact when we send the voting results to policymakers. 🎥 Watch the launch video to see Clause Out in action. 👉 Sign up at clauseout.com to get started for yourself. Huge thanks to Antler and Kaplak Ventures for their early support. We'd love your feedback, and if this resonates, help spread the word! #DemocracyServedStraight

  • Tax Day may be over, but we still have taxes on the brain. You’ve probably noticed tipping requests popping up everywhere, from coffee shops to self-checkouts. A recent survey found that nearly 90% of Americans believe tipping is out of control, and now, tipping is in the spotlight for another reason: taxes.   A new bill, the No Tax on Tips Act, proposes that cash tips should be exempt from federal income tax. Supporters say this would put more money into the pockets of low-wage workers. Critics argue it’s a political stunt that benefits a select few while potentially deepening wage inequities.   Tax policy doesn’t happen in a vacuum. When one group gets a tax break, someone else picks up the tab. So, is this a pro-worker policy or just political theater?   Drop your thoughts below ⬇️ Would eliminating taxes on tips help workers, or is it a distraction from fair wages? https://lnkd.in/geffcPwE

Founder on a Mission to Democratize Policymaking

⚖️ Wanted: Justice for founders! That's what brought me to NYC this week. Today I'm participating in Live! From Tomorrow, an event that's turning the (cap) tables. In other words, I'll be the one getting pitched! 😏🤑 It's like reverse Shark Tank, with Zac Geinzer, Jeremy Kagan and Howard Fischer competing for a spot in my heart and on our cap table. Clause Out is building a platform that cuts through the noise of politics in order to make policy accessible to everyone. Now it’s time to see which investor brings the most value to our mission. Who will make their case, and who will we choose? Stay tuned. #LiveFromTomorrow #LFT #VC #venturecapital #investor #investing #startups #sustainability

  • The "Make Greenland Great Again Act" was introduced in Congress this year, raising global eyebrows. But beyond the headlines, what's really at stake? Why this Matters: ✔️ Greenland is more than ice. It holds valuable resources, key trade routes, and U.S. military ties dating back to 1951. ✔️ 85% of Greenlanders oppose leaving Denmark, and even Danish citizens are questioning the status quo. ✔️ This proposal is bigger than Greenland—it's about sovereignty, alliances, and global power shifts. Should the U.S. make this move? Sound off below, or check out Clause Out to see the full policy: https://lnkd.in/gWHTuQsh

  • However you feel about the election result, one thing is strikingly clear — The American people are dissatisfied with the status quo and the political establishment. This has been our attitude ever since we started Clause Out last year. The system either isn’t working for a big chunk of voters. Or, it fails at educating voters about the role of government and the rationale for policies. We would like to congratulate Donald Trump on his electoral victory and encourage everyone to join us in taking a closer look at policy matters. Democracy doesn’t start and end with elections. If this speaks to you, let us know. If it doesn’t, tell us why. We believe in vigorous debate.

  • Day 💯 of Building With the Public! When we started this campaign, we didn’t have all the answers—or even a complete plan. We just wanted to keep our development open, giving you the chance to weigh in on how Clause Out takes shape. Building this way reflects our viewpoint that policymaking shouldn’t be a one-way street. That goes for our business, too. Over the last 100 days, we’ve shared about our progress and our setbacks virtually in real time. In this kick-off campaign, we covered: 🌐 People and Principles – Who’s behind Clause Out and the values that guide our work. 🛠️ Processes and Product – How we’re building tools to make civic engagement easier and more meaningful. 🏃Pounding the Pavement – Taking it to the streets to get feedback and understand where to go from here. Thanks for following along! We’ll keep you posted on what’s next, and we appreciate your feedback and support. Keep it coming! 📣 #BuildingWithThePublic - Day 100

  • 🇺🇸 Making the rounds in Scranton to hear what’s on people’s minds going into the election. Just chatted up someone who asked, “Why are we bombarded with these political ads and then we hear nothing for years?” Good question. 🤔 We’re asking the same thing. These undecided voters on our CEO’s home turf are skeptical that either party is looking out for them and will act on their promises. Our goal at Clause Out is to give people a direct line to their representatives to increase accountability. #BuildingWithThePublic - Day 98

  • This is an open question after we complete work on our initial product in the coming days: How do we sponsor local and state policies? We decided to put our energy into federal bills to get things moving with the beta. Now that we’re almost ready to start delivering regular content and live updates/notifications, we want feedback on which policies are most relevant. Meanwhile, greetings from the front lines of the election: Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, where this picture was taken today. #BuildingWithThePublic - Day 97

  • Five days left until the election—and more info on what we’ve been building the last 100 days. Our CEO is making the rounds in his hometown of Allentown, Pennsylvania to hear how people are feeling about the political system these days. Spooky spoiler: Not great. 😳 Let the canvassing begin! We’re on the lookout for disillusioned but optimistic people who are interested in what government is (or isn’t) doing. #BuildingWithThePublic - Day 97
