Beyond Silicon Age: Accelerating the Next Materials Revolution In computing, shifting from single-core CPUs to parallel processing transformed speed and capability - enabling unprecedented innovation. Yet, materials discovery remains trapped in a slow, "single-core" approach. This bottleneck is not just academic - it’s an urgent global imperative. From quantum computing and advanced semiconductors to clean energy solutions and AI hardware, virtually every critical technology sector is constrained by materials innovation. Major global powers and industries - from the U.S. Materials Genome Initiative to Europe's Horizon program and China's strategic investments - are pouring significant resources into accelerating materials R&D. Major global companies such as Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Facebook, Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA invest in material discoveries. Our CEO Maksym Plakhotnyuk, Ph.D 🇺🇦 wrote a vision of how advanced materials discoveries can be accelerated and enabled in parallel processing. At ATLANT 3D, we believe the future demands a new paradigm: Direct Atomic Layer Processing (DALP®). - Enables atomically precise, maskless, multi-material patterning; - Accelerates experimentation from weeks to mere hours; - Facilitates the rapid creation of high-density combinatorial libraries for parallel materials discovery; - Seamlessly integrates with AI-driven autonomous labs and robotic experimentation. In our latest newsletter, we explore: - The strategic global imperative driving faster materials discovery; - How DALP® technology transforms slow, linear experimentation into rapid parallel innovation; - Real-world impacts across critical sectors such as semiconductors, quantum computing, clean energy, and photonics. Materials are at the heart of global economic leadership and technological advancement. Accelerating discovery isn’t optional - it’s essential. #MaterialsInnovation #BeyondSilicon #DALP #DeepTech #Nanofabricator #QuantumComputing #Semiconductors #CleanEnergy #AI #Nanotechnology #ATLANT3D #InnovationAcceleration #advancedmaterials

Sometimes a talent needs a chance to show his capabilities! Excited to have Mikel onboard!
How a Quarter Can Change Everything Last quarter I was: 🤔 Part of a non-funded startup I chose to support — but that meant no income 🤔 Tried to make up for it with a side business, but deals took forever to close and were too small 🤔 No job signed by early December, I was like if I don‘t sign in December, I’ll have to apply to McDonald in January. No joke. 🤔 Minus €3,000 in my bank account by the end of December, with additional debts 🤔 Unsure if I could still live in the same city as my girlfriend 4 months later? ✅ Fully onboarded at a new company, with incredible learnings and growth (PS: it was a very intense quarter!) ✅ Fantastic colleagues ✅ Probation period behind me ✅ Doing exactly what I love: spending my days in HubSpot, going out into the world, and meeting top scientists from tier-1 institutions ✅ Science, science, science ✅ Pushing my passion forward — the world of partnerships Privately: - Moved into a new flat with my girlfriend — we both got to stay in Berlin - Setting everything up, spending weekends mounting cupboards - Just ordered a new car (1-year subscription) ⸻ Now — where am I heading? 10 days in Mexico. Soaking up the sun and the joy of the people from Mexicans. The last 6 months have been intense. I’d forgotten how hard it is to search for a job, land one, get onboarded in a new company, and build trust with colleagues. I’m glad that phase is now behind me! It’s so important to recognize how every step in life teaches you something. This one definitely did: after the rain comes the sun. Now, Time to enjoy the sunshine — it’s going to be a beautiful ride. ⛰️🌄 Q2 is coming… but first, let’s drink some margaritas 🍹 ✌️
