✈️ 220 windows. 16 doors. 10 fuel tanks. 80-meter wingspan. The Airbus A380 isn’t just the largest passenger aircraft in the world – it’s a true masterpiece of engineering. Today, our Rotary Club had the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and explore this giant up close – and we were absolutely amazed: 🔧 The wings flex up to 4 meters during take-off and landing – tested in the very hangar we passed onsite ⛽ Even the vertical stabilizer (tail fin) is used as a fuel tank – in addition to the wings and forward compartments ✈️ The A380 burns 11–12 tonnes of fuel per hour but can carry up to 240 tonnes in total 🛬 It was designed to take off and land slower than the 747 – reducing both fuel use and noise ❄️ Inside, 15 climate-controlled zones provide exceptional passenger comfort 🛏️ And it’s so quiet and spacious, long-haul flights feel surprisingly relaxing A truly impressive experience – technically, acoustically, and emotionally.
