As head of DD2, the Danish Center for Strategic Research in Type 2 Diabetes, Jens oversees a biobank with 250,000 blood samples from 10,000 Danes. This invaluable data has powered 70+ research projects aimed at improving diabetes care. "For me, it's about gathering knowledge that truly makes a difference—for both patients and the healthcare professionals supporting them," Jens shares. With a PhD, MBA, and deep expertise in physiology and cell biology, Jens has been dedicated to DD2’s mission since 2010.
