HyFuel Solar Refinery, a subsidiary of Vast Renewables, has secured $700,000 in funding from the Australia-Singapore Low Emissions Technologies (ASLET) initiative to advance SA Solar Fuels—a groundbreaking project developing green methanol for maritime and aviation industries. Located at Port Augusta Green Energy Hub, the facility will use concentrated solar thermal power to produce 7,500 tonnes of green methanol per year, supporting sustainable shipping and tourism.
