We were spread across three countries — 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇺🇲 — moving the ball forward at some of the most prestigious events in our field 🚀 In 🇫🇷, Corentin Gondrand represented us at the BioLabs Investor Day and Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in Paris. Deep diving in the vivid Medtech ecosystem, he engaged with Tier 1 investors and key hospital and health insurance players in our largest European market. In 🇩🇪, Estelle Bonedeau received the Science4Life e.V. 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗽 for QuantiLight, an outstanding industry recognition for our breakthrough platform for at-home chronic patient monitoring. In 🇺🇲, Jakub Slawinski participated in the prestigious Precision Med TRI-CON conference in San Diego, where he received praises from leaders in precision medicine and diagnostics. Let’s welcome Corentin Gondrand and QuantiLight team – innovators developing a cutting-edge #portable #blood #testing platform, which quantifies a broad range of individual #biomarkers in just 15 minutes at-home or at the point-of-care. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀🔥 👉23 million chronic patients in Europe and the US require frequent blood testing. 👉More than 800,000 organ transplant recipients take #immunosuppressants like #Tacrolimus. 👉Failure to follow medical recommendations increases the risk of acute rejection by 20% and the risk of losing the transplanted organ by 16%. 👉In order to optimize the dosage of the immunosuppressant, patients have to test their blood every week during the first year after the transplantation. 👉With current laboratory-based methods, patients lose on average more than 3 hours per test, considering commute and waiting time. 👉Nurses and physicians lose an average of 30 minutes per test reporting. 👉It takes days for patients to receive test results and treatment adjustment. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻💡 🎯QuantiLight’s portable blood testing solution delivers lab-precise results in just 15 minutes from a simple finger-prick blood sample. 🎯Organ-transplant recipients will save on average two days per year. 🎯Meanwhile, an average of € 1,400 per patient per year will be saved in the healthcare system. 🎯QuantiLight’s technology is based on proprietary bioluminescent sensors which they can design to target different biomarkers by replacing a receptor protein. 🎯Thanks to the sensors, the platform can be used for the measurement of small molecule drugs, antibodies, safety and disease biomarkers. 🎯Beyond transplantation, the platform can help psychiatry and decentralized clinical trials.
