  • 🏆🏆 Successful completion of our MARTIN-wide leadership program!   It was with the goal of taking leadership to the next level and strengthening collaboration that we launched the next stage of our company-wide leadership program for all heads of department one year ago. First and foremost, the program further developed the leadership skills of our heads of department and strengthened collaboration across departments, while at the same time building a foundation of trust among our managers. One year, four modules, an intensive exchange and many valuable insights have shown that strong leadership not only relies on know-how, but above all on the ability to reflect on one’s attitude, as well as on trust and cooperation.   💡 What was the program about? In addition to leadership basics, communication, decision-making skills and change management, the focus was above all on the exchange between departments because "It's easier to find solutions when you know each other."   🎓 What's next? The development is not over with the completion of the program: we are continuing to develop our leadership culture with individual, targeted and proven formats. Many thanks to all participants for their commitment and to the board of directors for their support! 💙   #Leadership #Collaboration #Growth #WirSindMARTIN #Skills

  • Diversity as a key to success – MARTIN never stops evolving With the invention of the reverse-acting grate, Josef Martin laid the cornerstone for success. But idleness is not an option for MARTIN. For almost a century, MARTIN has been constantly refining details – from the air supply to the drive to the adjustment to a broad range of different fuels. Thus, MARTIN has opened itself to a wide variety of customers and is now in a position to offer tailor-made, sustainable solutions. 🗝️ As far back as the 1930s, the discharger, then fondly referred to as the “furnace toilet”, became part of the standard equipment. Numerous innovations followed in the decades to come, for example the patent for grate bars with pushing noses in 1948 or the conversion from gear to hydraulic drives in the 1980s. These were major advances but, as always at MARTIN, never meant the end to development. 🔁 Today the combustion control system is fully automated and combines tried and tested process signals with innovative, computer-aided image analysis. In addition to the classic sensors, ultra-modern optical equipment such as high-performance infrared cameras and advanced computer vision technologies are used. These allow for precise and dynamic monitoring and control of the combustion process in real time. The Martin Infrared Combustion Control (MICC) system thus makes an important contribution to reliable and complete combustion. 🔥 At the same time, MARTIN continuously optimizes the proven process equipment, for example through sophisticated air staging (ASC) in order to sustainably reduce emissions such as NOx at an early stage, while at the same time keeping the excess air rate low. 🎯 The combination of engineering and digital solutions has long since become an integral part of MARTIN and allows the company to offer a wide range of products and technological expertise far beyond the “normal” reverse-acting grate. The key to success? MARTIN is not just on the pulse of time, but ahead of it. 🚀 #Invention #Innovation #100yearsMARTIN #history

  • Turning a brilliant idea into a start-up🚀 📆It is not the proverbial garage but a small 3 square metre workshop where the MARTIN success story begins in 1924. Here is where an idea is turned into something really big - and it all starts with the prototype of the first MARTIN reverse-acting grate, which goes on to become the technical heart of the company. 💡Founder Josef Martin initially calls his invention the “counterflow grate” and persistently refines his idea: “so I kept turning it over in my mind [...] day and night until I finally realised that the right way forward was the counterflow principle, i.e. to convey the embers from the hot zone of the furnace towards front end of the grate.” With this invention, he lays the technical foundation for 100 years of success. Over the years, it is not only the reverse-acting grate that is further developed, optimised and improved in countless details. Today, MARTIN designs far more than just grates and offers with its products and expertise solutions for its customers all over the world. 🌎 #100yearsMARTIN #Invention #Reverseactinggrate #history #100Years #WtE

  • Recap: KMR meeting 2025 This year's meeting of our KMR (aftersales services) department took place on 7 and 8 January in Aying and brought together teams from various departments and our subsidiaries. 🏭🤝 Two days full of cross-divisional collaboration: 🔹On the first day, the focus was on internal topics and included issues such as IT tools, a comprehensive review of the year 2024 and a preview of 2025. The feedback from the sales representatives on our internal processes was particularly valuable, as was the exchange of experiences on the projects in 2024. 🔹The second day was dedicated to networking between all participants and focussed on the cooperation with our subsidiaries. Presentations on current projects and strategic developments such as the waste flow analysis and digital products provided exciting insights into our shared future. 🎓What did we learn? Cross-divisional collaboration is the key to success, in particular in international teams. Our teams had the opportunity to intensively exchange ideas and share their knowledge. Now it's time for us to roll up our sleeves together and put the insights gained into action!  🚀 #Cooperation #Teamwork #Engineering #Services

    • Our KMR team collaborates cross-functionally with all departments.
