EASTER BUNNY GOES BLACK 🐰 🖤 We went the extra mile and coated an Easter bunny just for you. Elegant, understated, black – definitely not a classic Easter bunny. A COLORFUL SCHOOL EXCURSION 👩🔬🔬 This week, we were delighted to welcome young female pupils to give them insights into the world of coatings. MINT:PINK is a local initiative in Hamburg, Germany, connecting schools and local companies. MINT is the German abbreviation for STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). We are very proud to support their main purpose for many years: showing young female students the variety and possibilities of technical and chemical professions. This time a group of girls from the 9th grade of the Süderelbe Grammar School who are interested in STEM subjects visited our Hamburg facility. The girls got to know Mankiewicz young professionals in a speed dating session and were able to try out what it means to work with coatings: they sprayed lenses and thoroughly tested our coatings in our test center. We are curious to see how many of you we might see again for an internship or an apprenticeship with us.

ITALY – INSPIRATION – INSIGHTS 💚⚪🔴 Come home with more luggage – and do not need an extra suitcase: That is characteristic of a trip to the Milan Design Week and the Milan Furniture Fair. Because it’s about bringing home new trends and design innovations. Last week, Milan, Italy, was the absolute hotspot for designers worldwide. Our design team was there to be inspired by the countless installations, discover trends, and exchange ideas with other experts. Here are three takeaways and challenges that particularly impressed our design team (not only) this year: ➡️ In Milan, you find inspiration even in strange times ➡️ Design and optimism are kindred spirits ➡️ The feeling of missing out is part and parcel of visiting Milan Design Week, as there are countless impressions waiting for you Since our designers provide consulting services to customers from various industries (aviation, automotive, yacht, and many more), it is exciting to see how their impressions from Milan are translated into new colors for different branches.

COATING CONTRIBUTES TO COMMUNITY The Solibox in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg is a public neighborhood exchange point: a place where people can leave well-kept items and discover something new – all free and open to everyone. Located right in front of the Zinnwerke (a local hubspot for social projects), the Solibox has become a small but meaningful part of local life. We at Mankiewicz believe in supporting community-driven ideas – especially when they combine sustainability, creativity, and sharing. That’s why we were happy to sponsor a fresh coating for the Solibox. Our apprentices carried out the work themselves – from prep to finish. Local press was also on site to capture the project and speak with the team. THE PROJECT IN A NUTSHELL ➡️ Surface preparation by hand ➡️ Application of primer and topcoat ➡️ Exterior finished in deep blue, interior in clean white It was a great opportunity for our apprentices to apply their skills in a real-world setting – and to contribute to a project that matters to the neighborhood.

HAPPY HOME GAME IN HAMBURG 🛬 Every spring, the Aircraft Interiors Expo, the world's leading exhibition for everything related to cabin interiors, is on our doorstep. It goes without saying that it is a special honor for us to be part of it again - this year with a brand new exhibition booth. FUTURE COATING EXPERTS IN THE MAKING What an exciting day! Yesterday, we opened our doors for Zukunftstag 2025 and welcomed curious young minds to get a first-hand look at the world of coating solutions at Mankiewicz. 🎯✨ Our apprentices and HR team prepared an engaging program to give the kids a memorable and informative experience. The day started with a warm welcome and introduction, followed by a colorful hands-on session: ➡️ Applying coatings themselves – fully equipped with protective suits ➡️ Experiencing the science behind color in our color vision tests ➡️ Learning about safety and our company values ➡️ Discovering how marketing, production, and logistics work hand in hand ➡️ Guided tours through our production halls and warehouses 🚶♂️🚶♀️ A DAY FULL OF INSIGHTS Of course, there was also time for a well-deserved pizza break and a small ceremony with certificates and goodies for everyone! 🎁 A big thank you to all our apprentices and colleagues who made this day possible with so much energy and passion. SHARING KNOWLEDGE, BUILDING SKILLS From theory to practice — our recent Wind Blade Repair Workshop in Istanbul was a great example of what’s possible when industry leaders come together! Over four days, 35 participants from 11 different service companies, including renowned global players, came together to dive deep into our coating solutions for blade repair. FOCUS ON PRACTICE AND EXCHANGE Alongside theoretical sessions about the history of Mankiewicz, our product portfolio, and application know-how, the highlight was clearly the hands-on part. Participants had the chance to apply our different coating systems themselves — supported by our experienced trainers. This combination of knowledge transfer and real application made the workshop a valuable experience for everyone involved. The feedback speaks for itself: an average rating of 4.9 out of 5! ⭐ Many participants emphasized how much they appreciated the practical approach and the open exchange with our team.
