Embracing a Healthier Lifestyle in 2025 with evoila! We all strive to live healthier lives, but it takes action to make it happen. At evoila, 2025 is focusing on running or cycling. Personally, cycling isn't my thing, so the evoila #tourdeFrance isn't for me. However, when a colleague (lets say Anastasios Ntaflos) mentioned his lifelong dream of running the original marathon in Greece, it was clear what this year would bring. Now, we have a team of 15 people in the evoila #MarathonTeam, including partners and friends. We are excited to welcome more members! If you're interested, you still can get a ticket for November. KubeCon wasn’t just packed with tech talks – it was full of good people, honest convos and a surprising amount of breakfast-themed mascots... Yes, we brought them and no, we’re not sorry. 🍵 Tea, 🥓 Beacon, 🍞 Toast, 🍳 Egg 🫘 Bean were on-duty and absolutely thrived. Together, they formed the one and only 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 – and made networking a lot more fun and definitely more memorable. But mascots aside, one of the best parts of KubeCon is always the people. From catching up with customers and partners to meeting new faces – this year didn’t disappoint: 🤝 We had the chance to connect with some of our amazing customers – including 𝘽𝙂 𝙀𝙏𝙀𝙈, 𝙐𝙁𝙕, 𝘽𝙒𝙄, 𝘾𝙄𝘿 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙈 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 – all doing exciting things in the cloud-native space. Thanks for the inspiring chats and insights. 🥣 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 | "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯" 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗖𝗼𝗻 | 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Our mascots Bacon & Bean explored the expo today and so did we. There was a lot to see and learn and we covered a lot of ground. 🌟 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀? A brilliant chat at the #Intel booth around TDX – isolating VMs into trust domains for improved data protection. A deep dive into privacy, trust and the future of secure cloud computing. 𝗞𝗥𝗢 Had a great chat with some AWS experts about KRO – a new approach to CRDs and CRD groupings that's aiming to simplify and structure how we define and manage custom resources. Promising! 𝗠𝗜𝗔 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 Also got a lot of value from catching up with our partners at Mia-Platform – a flexible, fully European Internal Developer Platform that’s all about giving devs the right tools, without the heavy overhead. And of course, OpenTelemetry was everywhere – Yes, it’s complex. But that’s the charm. We see real progress: ✔️ OTLP enabling unified traces, metrics and logs ✔️ Config SIG simplifying SDK setup ✔️ Evolving conventions pushing us closer to true interoperability Were there challenges? Sure – tail-sampling and Prometheus quirks still make life… interesting. But we call that learning, right?
